i blame a great deal of the 'idiot' claims on the aesthetic marketing of the sport. if they classed it up a little it would probably just get treated like boxing. not well, but at least respected.

What two mutually consenting adults do is none of my business if they're not hurting anyone else.
I actually enjoy BJJ and Real wrestling because i like to butt heads and have fun. Should that be illegal just because i could get hurt? I know the risks and don't take them lightly, but that goes with skiing and rock climbing and any other sport for that matter. I would never give anything to not have these things in life, whats the point to safe life we are all going to die and then it no longer matters. If you don't like it separate your self from it, people are going to do what they want to do no matter what laws we make for them so fuck it.
