Not much have happened since last year. And to start it all of, Yes, it's mostly IKEA stuff but I really dig it. It's inexpensive, minimalistic and functional. I love it!
The couch, kitchen and dining area still look the same.
I sold of my Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U as they were just collecting dust. Still the same old 55" LG LED, but I'm looking for a 65" UHD in the near future. I built a shelf so that my Xbox 360 and PlayStation could lie down. Also, still the same old HTPC (i3 3.2ghz/GT630) and I'm planning to get a Xbox One this fall.
The big black box on the left has various controllers while the one on the right is full of wires. Grey box under the TV has my Elgato Gamecapture equipment while the one on the shelving unit holds my Razer headphones. The tiny black box on the shelving unit is my travel box. It holds a Raspberry Pi 2+ with Retropie, PSU, HDMI cable, Bluetooth dongle and 2x 8bitDo SFC30 controllers.
On display is all my physical PlayStation 4 games and a handful of my 100+ Xbox 360 games. Favorites, Games I want to play or games that I currently have in rotation.
And lastly I dug out my newly acquired Hori Real Arcade Pro 4 Kai for PlayStation 4. Also use this stick on PC and I'm very happy with the components. I also have my trusty Hori Real Arcade Pro VX-SA for Xbox 360 but that sits in my closet.
Now to the entirely new part. For over a year my bedroom has been a mess. I couldn't figure out how I wanted it to look but finally settled on it and finished it just last week. I did the minimalistic R2-D2 painting myself. I got my old GameBoy DMG-001 modded with a light, green power LED and new black buttons. I got a buddy of mine to 3D print a stand for it and then I have my GameBoy games in a bowl next to it. Great for bedtime gaming.
Above I have some pictures. The Wonderboy flyer was a birthday present from a friend of mine and to the left of that is my ICON Trading Card Award as I'm the Twin Galaxies record holder for Metal Slug Supervehicle-001 on Neo Geo MVS and was featured on a Walter Day trading card. To the right is my official Guinness certificate for the same performance.
