But this isn't street fighterFirestorm said:Do you see the little orange sliver? That's how little that piece adds to the bar. There's more than enough room for a stage you want. I honestly do prefer the platform approach. I don't see people complaining that all the stages in Street Fighter are flat with a different background.

But then again, I'm pretty sure they didn't with Snake, so who knows.

The game would have been a lot better with another year or two of work. More variety in the levels, focus on one core team instead of four, and run some damn bug testing.Iam Canadian said:For all that Sonic Heroes did wrong in gameplay, it did get the proper Sonic aesthetic down. Bright colours, checkerboard hillsides...that's what Sonic's supposed to look like. I detest the pseudo realistic look of the Adventure games, Shadow, and the 360 title.

To be fair, they weren't hard guesses.Grecco said:The latest Smash em up is up with Square Enix characters possible for Brawl
Its pretty funny checking IGNS old Smash em ups. They were right on stuff like King Deedee and Lucas

Yeah, since seeing some E4All videos I've thought this stage looked like it had a lot more 'fun' potential than the old Metroid stages.
Hey, could I bug you for some brief E4All impressions while you're here?
How much did you enjoy what you played and is there anything about it that you didn't particularly like? What character did you like the most? Stage? Anything else stand out to you after your playtime as particularly noteworthy or memorable?
(I'm about to head off to work but thanks in advance if you take the time to answer )
WTF HOLY SHIT. How did I miss this!?ckohler said:Are you talking about Sonic Adventure 2: Battle on the Gamecube? Because it had an unlockable, fully 3D version of Green Hill Zone with classic music and everything. See for yourself:

Can't get enough of those screaming E4All girls. Sakurai should add their commentary to Brawl. They could be the cheering voices and do the timer countdown! :lolKeith Stack said:

That's okay because it's totally going to explode with tonights megaton!
Let's get my prediction in early: Veteran tonight! But who? Captain Falcon seems the obvious choice, but it'd be nice to be surprised by someone like Sheik or Ganondorf. (Maybe Ganon will become a starter character this time around, just like how Falcon and Ness went from unlockables to starters in the 64 to Melee transition?)
Sheik (if he's still in the game, anyway!) and Ganon will both make for really exciting updates. Sheik because of his possible redesign, and Ganon because he should (hopefully) have an all new moveset!

this was the 50th update. There may be no reason to be excited for the 150th.

MrCheez said:Eh, I disagree that the US translation closes the case. Does anyone know what the Japanese profile in Melee says?
The US translations of the mario games refer to Birdo as a female, when it is in fact male in the original Japanese games.
Even if the Japanese trophy page in Melee says the same as the US page, I'm still not convinced it's cannon when it's a small blurb in a spin-off game developed by people who weren't involved in the development of OOT.
GamerSoul said:Just think of it this way: We know who Sheik really is so there is no point in debating in whether a simple badass persona is a diff gender. If you think Sheik is a guy, then the disguise has work and you have been fooled.
Jiggy37 said:Didn't later games like Super Mario RPG retcon Birdo into a female anyway? (I'm honestly not sure, just asking.)
And it shoots eggs, so it must be female. /Snake logic
