Alternatively, you could stop being a whiny bitch and stop reading it? You know, show some self-restraint so you don't have to feel personally insulted when every update isn't up to your personal standard?
The last two people who I remember doing this were 'DarkOne' and the gaffer now known as 'Time Dog' (I can't remember his old name). I think it worked out pretty good for TimeDog, but not so good for Darkone...

I'm on agreement with I Am Canadian concerning update status. This is a stealth double update, a music update but only the second update (music) is Zelda Specific as Hyrule Temple is just used as an example of the the return of Melee Stages.
Anyway nice update tonight and a nice end to November. Perhaps we are on the way up concerning the quality of updates.

This update actually brings disappointing news, as opposed to underwhelming news we've grown accustomed to over the past month
Personally, I think they should just stop updating the site. If they are just going to give us feature we expect to be in the game, whats the point?
Or you could just not visit the site or visit less frequently. Nobody is making you stop by every night to check the update as soon as it comes up. Also I'm confident they'll include most of the fan-favorite old stages. Few tears will be shed over the loss of something like Icicle Mountain.
I'm going to go with a +1 for Zelda updates, music only. Counting the stage feels kind of like counting the Fire Flower from the old items update as a Mario update, and I don't think there would be any question if he had mentioned more than one stage.
I've also got to say that it's great to hear that some Melee music is in the game. A lot of that soundtrack was stellar, and I was worried that I'd miss having it around without a custom soundtrack feature.
The music obviously is, but I would only count that. Even though it only showed the Zelda Temple it was about Melee stages as a whole, so unless he starts giving us stage updates for returning Melee ones I don't think this would be a Zelda update.

Reader question 3: Should these music updates be counted even though they don't have their own separate section on the Dojo?
I really gotta argue that this was just one update, not two. It's in one post. But since it's concerning two different types of update, music and stages, both would get a +1.
There's enough disagreement that maybe I'll just toss in disclaimers in the future. For now I'll go ahead and count this as only a single Zelda update, though. It is true that I never counted Chikorita and Goldeen even though they were in that Poke Balls update, and the Temple isn't described even slightly in the actual text of the site, so I can see how it's not the focus here.
In any case, thanks for the input, and good night to the Brawl thread.

Finally Novembore is over. Its time for a new month with exciting updates!
I doubt a sudden change will happen just because its December. Maybe on the 3rd of December because thats when it was supposed to be released. But I think that SSB 64 will be avalible for download on Wii that day.

What you're supposed to be learning here, pseudo-junior, is that you don't post signatures on GAF. It ruins the simple, elegant beauty of an otherwise signature-less forum.
That's some awesome music. Good way to end November... and to hype up to what could've been...
In thinking about it, I'm goddamn glad that it was postponed. I'm drowning in work and projects... if I had smash sitting in front of me ... there's nooo way i'd be able to keep my hands off..... Argh.
Nice. I love the wide stages. I play as Pikachu and my strategy is very much a hit-n-run kinda thing.
My usual tech:
Get major run up, jump over enemy, call a lightning bolt from above as I pass over, then carry on running to the other side of the stage. Turn round, repeat

I agree, especially to the degree of consistency he suggests. Running up to a human opponent, then jumping over them and attacking when they're expecting a straight-on ground attack is a good Pikachu strategy, but it only works when it's mixed up with other approaches.
What a nice update. Melee has some great stages, and this castle stage is one of my favorite in the game. And the new music is also pretty good, though the last castle theme isn't really my favorites.
Pretty sure Final Destination will be in it. I'm also thinking Corneria, Peach Castle and maybe one of the n64 oldies. I'm actually hoping for one of the F-Zero stages to be in it. They are pretty fun.
Dont jump the gun just yet...besides all we need is Dreamland, Rainbow Cruise, Big Blue and Poke Floats...and Final Destination just to see the /v/ reaction
This is easily the best update ever for me. I mean, I knew it was coming, just as I knew the game would have online, it's still just nice to have confirmation. All the stages thus far pretty much being FD ripoffs is kinda a hint that we'd be getting a many classical stages.
And just like the online update, this clears any lingering doubts I had about possibly not wanting this game.
This and Rainbow Cruise and the game is fucking golden as far as I'm concerned.
