While I think it's stupid to hate on the Wii (same as the PS3/360), he does have a point about Nintendo fanboys getting a lot of slack lately for absolute trolling.

Well lately as in the last year. It's popular to be a Nintendo fanboy right now.

No console or console fan has the monopoly on trolling on GAF, I'm afraid. Each side gives as good as it gets.

This is the stupidest thread ever. It just gives an easy path for haters, and an easy path for Nintendo fanboys to dispute against the haters.

Not in my family. My brother, who's a big PS2 nut, totally digs the Bowling in Wii Sports AND the new Zelda(he didnt like Wind Waker very much but he grew up playing the old Zeldas). I think it's going to crossover well for people

My problem with Nintendo fanboys, even over any others, is how quickly they personally attack you when you give an honest opinion, even when it's devoid of any hostility; for no other reason than to invalidate your opinion. It's not enough to just dispute anything you say, or even disagree, they feel the need to ridicule you. This is why I'm always hesitant to say too much relating anything to Nintendo. I just don't feel like getting into a name calling match or being dragged throught the mud. I know all fanboys can and will do this, but Nintendo fanboys seem to be the only ones who get away with it here with regularity. Probably shouldn't have even made this post, but it seems the topic has swayed to this subject now.

OK, so I admit that I haven't read the entire thread...

...but if all I had played on the Wii was Super Monkey Ball multiplayer, I would probably count as someone who hates the thing. DO NOT BUY MONKEY BALL FOR MULTIPLAYER MINI GAMES. I tried a good number of them and EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM sucked.

Ignore my warning at your own peril. If you have it, don't show it to your friends. It's like buying your kid an Atari Jaguar as their first game system - something you should only do if you want to make sure your kid never plays a video game again.
