Sony E3 2017 Conference Thread [Over]

Aside from Monster Hunter World, Shadow of the Colossus Remake, and Spider-Man, this conference didn't do a lot for me. Sure, God of War looks okay (I guess), but that's about it.

Still, those former three games look amazing, so it kind of off-sets everything else.

Better than I thought honestly.

Overall, I'm planning to buy more PS4 games than I thought:

Horizon frozen Wilds
Monster Hunter World
God of War
Spiderman
Knack 2

That was really disappointing. The only things that stood out for me were the SotC remake and Spider-Man. It's cool that this Spider-Man is Miles Morales at least.

Very average show for Sony. Kept the pace. Dragged in the middle with all the VR stuff. Nice end with a very polished Spiderman. No Last of Us 2 was a bummer.

I should have stayed in bed...I mean SoTC is nice, but I've already played through the game 3 times. The rest was just already announced games. One of the worst showings for Sony ever.

Overall 7/10.

Definitely the right pace. Game after game after game. But the finale was certainly underwhelming, and no massive surprises (although rumors/leaks hurt MH and SotC reveals).

I can't believe Ubisoft is (currently) winning E3. Nintendo is all that's left.

Eh that was probably their worst E3 showing in the past few years.

They still showed alot of good stuff though. Spiderman in particular looks quite amazing.

Not ending with Last of Us? WTF Sony

TLOU obviously isn't ready or needed to be shown again yet

Some of you guys are living in a different world for what you expected in the conference. GoW and Spider-Man look absolutely insane. Two GOTY contenders for next year

Honestly, I'm pretty disappointed in Sony this year. It was still a decent show, but much of it was games we already seen with a few exceptions such as the VR stuff (which still wasn't really that much) and Monster Hunter. It's good they didn't announce shit far too early in development to come out in any reasonable time, but more new announcements would've been appreciated. I will say this, That Spider-Man Gameplay was kick-ass, and definitely the best part of the show IMO.

Seemed adequate. The lack of new announcements is a bummer but what was there looked fun. Still preferred it to Microsoft's showing tbh, but it's Nintendo to lose.

Damn.. I thought Microsoft`s conference was bad.. But this.. What happened?

Barely an hour, only showed things that we've already seen..

I`ve never seen a crowd leave a conference in such silence.

Too many of the games looked/played too similar to each other. While Microsoft needs to build a first party, Sony needs a bit more variety in their lineup.

That said, that was the best conference of E3 2017 thus far. Good 7/10 effort.

The only "wow" for me was SOTC (a remake). Uncharted feels a bit tired for me atm.

That was a lacking show I felt. 2015 and 2016 were awesome for Sony, but they dropped the ball a fair bit here. Conference was too damn short.

That samurai tease though. Was that just nothing? Are we pulling a Nintendo now where we stealth-announce a bunch of good stuff outside the conference for no reason? They already dropped Undertale PS4 before the actual event (which is a pretty huge deal considering 1. It's Undertale 2. Someone had to recode the entire game to port it 3. The ports seem to be Sony exclusive at the moment)

Definitely the best conference so far, though.
Or, more accurately, second-best after the Devolver one.
Now it's just Nintendo that's left.

Can I preorder that SotC remake like, now?

Conference was overall disappointing tbh. Monster hunter (game of E3 for me), God of War and Spidey were brilliant. Everything else was OK to just not interested 7/10. Ubisoft had the best conference. E3 was average this year
