Sony E3 2017 Conference Thread [Over]

Nothing megatons this year but site remake has me by the balls just one of the best games to just roam around in can't wait for that

Spider man also looked excellent

7/10 for me. Love the conference itself but it lacks a megaton. The games were really good GOW, Spider-Man, Days Gone, Horizon DLC,but it lack a megaton or a AAA new IP.

Including the pre-show thought it was good, but just, best so far too (but not saying much).
God of War and Spider-Man was all I was looking forward to and both looked great.
Really annoyed at the lack of full dates too.
8/10 with pre-show. 6.5/10 without.
Ubi 7.5/10
MS 6/10
Beth 3/10
EA 2/10

Overall bad E3.

Can we stop showing Skyrim in our big conferences? It came out in 2011

Spiderman was cool and I really loved seeing a modern take on SOTC, but overall the show was a snooze

The conference was really good.

It's annoying to see everything slated for 2018, but it seems they already have enough games to cover 2017.

Sony can't blow their entire load, because they also have the PlayStation Experience. Maybe some here will be more satisfied at that event.

Wow. Amazing conference...everybody else take notes! Game after game after game, no useless talking and cringe shit...
Uncharted Lost Legacy keeps looking great, trailer implied many set pieces.
Horizon's DLC looks fantastic.
SoTC - looks amazing!
Days Gone actually looks good! Changed my opinion from last year.
Monster Hunter 5 isn't exactly my cup of tea.
COD, Destiny 2, VR and MvC were bathroom breaks
God of War, Detroit and Spiderman all look absolutely phenomenal.

Yea "amazing" alright

I think there was a solid amount of solid demos. The lack of surprises doesn't bother me.

And maybe this is shit posting, but if you stay up for a video game conference that are historically very inconsistent in quality, don't complain about it like you had to do that. C'mon.

Really surprised there was no The Last of US 2 to end things. A little disappointing but God of War, Horizon DLC, UC4 DLC and Spider Man for sure.

Sorry, but the only thing that I will probably play out of all of that was the new God Of War.
I actually liked the MS conference better. Forza, Metro, Anthem, really got me excited. Granted, I will be playing all 3 on PC.....

Sony showed some good stuff, but overall this was one of their weaker presentations in recent years. Spider-Man, God of War, and Detroit: Become Human were among the standouts for me.

Ouch, Druckmann coming in with the sarcasm.

My sarcasm meter is broken because the Sony conference was good.

I don't think I'd say "Killer."

Well, after 2 amazing E3s they were bound to have a rather average one, probably 6.5/10 because of God of War, Detroit and Spider-Man. No solid dates, barely new stuff and... I dunno, I guess they're saving stuff for PSX.

Not a great conference compared to previous years. Better than MS for me, but that's not saying much (though the VR crap almost killed it for me). I'm still riding the high of MHW and SOTC, gonna double dip for sure on MH.

Not enough announcements. From both of the big 2 so far.

Pretty lame E3 all around. Though honestly, a modern MH is so good it almost makes up for it. Thank god it's multiplat (just like most of everything shown at E3 overall).

I stayed up for this?

I actually liked the format of the conference, game after game without the business sales fluff talk. But wasn't interested in most the games. SotC and MH for me. And that MH looked westernised aa fuck which we expected so I'm not really feeling it despite being a massive MH fan.

Save us Nintendo!

Lack of new I.P's made for a dull conference. The audience was terrible too. The games are coming along quite nicely. Sony's internal teams doing there work to diminish the impact of MS's new console.

The format was nice, but yeah, the content just wasn't there. Almost no new games, except a bunch of VR stuff.

I'm so confused about "Only 2018" comments. Like, what are you smoking?

As if E3 has always been up about the games who release right now and then in the same year.

Like, this is the FIRST time anyone saw Monster Hunter for example and it's slotted for 2018. Sea of Thieves for example has been at E3 for a 3rd time straight.

A real real wtf.

They obviously need games to come out now and catch up before they announce new stuff now.
That happens when you announce tons of games which are way out but barely anything releases.

Im fine with it, because there is so fucking much to play, but they obviously needed some breathing space

Honestly it was good that they didn't announce new stuff that isn't coming out past next year. Just show the stuff that is closest and get it out. Detroit and Days Gone don't even have a year yet.
