It isn't a game studio or a company that does genAI images, it's just a small startup with a tech to extract a 3D scene from a 2D photo and visualize it in VR.

Pretty likely got it for some related patent and to reuse their tech in some area of their next gen rendering, lighting or upscaling on a OS level.
