PS1 and PS2 classics is good, but no mention of real backwards compatibility.
Guess that means they're not even thinking about doing it. :,(

Considering they have notifications when people go into party chat and the like I doubt its a hurdle to implement whether you are notified when people come online - it seems more that Sony (wrongly) didn't prioritise it.Wow they do address EVERYTHING in this survey!
I'm still shocked "Notifications for friends going online" is still a thing, I'm shocked that they are even putting such a basic thing in a survey instead of implementing it like now, obviously there is a fuck up with the design of the OS if they are having troubles with such a basic thing.
People have been asking for all of this, loudly, for well over a year
Sony's response? Another survey. Marvellous

Huh. Maybe I'm missing something, but why would anyone want to remove a game from their library?
Change PSN ID.
Please.
Please.
It will, and that'll be you biggest update for the whole of 2016/17I hope change PSN ID doesn't become the number 1 requested feature. For most people it will be a 1 time use thing. I'd rather they prioritised stuff that is of actual real use to everyone first.
No stickers?!"We have taken your feedback into consideration and are happy to present you the list of changes for the next update:
- More Sharing Options
- A bunch of updates to our social platforms
- A whole bunch of Stability
Expect it July 2016"

where's "Be more like Microsoft #4ThePlayers"?
I hope you guys get that hot reference
It's safe to assume that if the system supports classics, then it supports discs. The question is whether or not Sony will opt to lock out disc support. Either way I wouldn't expect the difference to be addressed in a simple survey format.
EVERYTHING
CHECK EVERYTHING
...also, I wonder what the wording implies in that second picture. I would have bet against another big firmware update so close after the last one. Maybe they're just gauging interest in their consumer base.

All of the above.

This.
Yeah.
EVERYTHING!
Where is the option for all of the above.
All of the above plus game gifting.
Tick all the boxes!
But personally the top three for me are
PS1 game support
PS2 game support
Folders.
Why wouldn't you check all boxes?
Blame the cell processor.
I'd be really happy with just PS1 and PS2 BC on PS4. I'd be able to stop worrying about my 60GB PS3 with hardware PS2 BC dying. And if PS1/PS2 games would work with Remote Play, that would even be a bigger plus.
It continues to amaze me that people want notifications when friends come online.
Do you have like 5 people on your friends list, or just enjoy having frequent notifications covering the screen?
Checking all is nonsensical. They are trying to gauge what is more important to focus on.
If you could change your PSN ID (not like it is now but like XBL). Would that mean people who already have had their IDs changed, could get their achievements back?
The next step of reference.where's "Be more like Microsoft #4ThePlayers"?
