Sony Knows

I find the list hilarious because Sony must know the correct answer is "all of the above" - would have made more sense for them to ask for the the top 3-5 features so they could prioritise those etc.

I want all the features though so meh.

I'd also like ability to control what games can show stuff in your activity feed. Some games aren't so bad, but others can pretty relentlessly spam your feed like GTAV did.

Inb4 anyone saying they have nudge-wink kinds of games you might want to hide etc

both everything? All things sound pretty reasonable, change ID (for a fee if needed), folders, friend online notifications, PS1/PS2 Classics, Wish List like Steam.

Also, I wonder what the other 9+ steps were in the survey.

It's a PR trick if they don't plan on doing anything but rather make ppl think they actually give a shit or on the other end of the scale they already know what gamers want and have plans to implement them anyway.
 
We got the wish list thing already right? I have a feeling we'll get these features. That being said. CHECK FUCKING EVERYTHING.

I doubt they manage to get all this in the next update but if they do. It'll be the most substantial update to date.

Considering they're releasing some PS2 Star Wars games next month and a few other PS2 games were Pegi rated for PS4, there's at least a little bit of the latter scenario going on.

And it's hard to believe we'd get PS2 Classics without PS1 Classics.

Do you realize how crazy it sounds to suggest Sony would put out a survey to a limited amount of people asking for suggestions in order to somehow convince everyone they might do some of them, when in fact they have no plans to do anything?

Answer: It sounds wildly insane and paranoid.

I honestly believe that if there is one company that does something as crazy as this it's Sony.
 
A vote for everything is likely a vote for nothing. I wouldn't be surprised if they're looking at relative frequency to see what to prioritize.
 
There's a lot that needs to be done but proper library options is something that is so overdue on their systems that it hurts.

Also, this wasn't listed, but I'd love the ability to customize the layout of the videos section. I hate how it puts apps I don't use at the top (Amazon) while apps I do use are buried at the bottom (Crunchyroll).
 
Everything is nice but I would go with PS1 and PS2 classics first.

Sony must obviously know that all of these features are highly requested so they should eventually bring all of them back.
 
EVERYTHING! TICK IT ALL!

Can Sony even imagine how much $$$ on name changes they lost over the course of these nearly TEN YEARS of PSN?? I know folks on Xbox who changed ID multiple times. Same player, paid several times to change name.

Also, let us:

- Buy games from different regions with the same account. We are tired of multiple accounts gimmick, Xbox does this right already.

- Delete trophy lists from account even if we earned a trophy for a game already. I don't want terrible games with 1% in my list just because I tried them and they popped a trophy for starting the game.

- Use multiple accounts on PS Vita.
 
Why is there even a need for a survey? They're all important - it's like they want a priority list or something to work on, but these are all things that should already be in progress.
Hire some contract developers already if it speeds things up.
 
I want PS1 and PS2 classics, especially PS2 classics since I still have never actually personally owned a PS2.

With the flash sales that this company has, I'll feel comfortable with paying for digital copies of these games because they're so low-priced.

Also, I'd like friend notifications, to delete items from the library, and the ability to gift games.
 
PS2 classics is what needs to happen.


Edit: If I bought PS2 classics on the PS3 would I have to rebuy it if the same games are brought to the PS4?
