It seems a perfect timing, could get bundled with new PS5 hardware revision (Slim?).
Can't wait for new trailer and footage, loved the first and Miles Morales.

Norman Reedus also spilled the beans on Death Stranding 2. TV actors don't give a fuck about the secrecy of the videogame industry
Because they understand how retarded this all îs.Horizon Burning Shores is a month from release and it's only got its announcement trailer.WTF are these companies doing!?

Meh I don't know if it's right or wrong and I don't care enough about it to argue, but the fact that TV and film actors don't really uphold to their NDAs doesn't really mean the videogame industry is in the wrong with their secrecy. Each studio reveals their content when they feel is the best time to do it for whatever are their reasons. It might be Metroid Prime 4 being revealed in 2017 and there is fuck all to show for it over half a decade later or it might be Hi-Fi Rush being revealed the same day it is launching. Two completely different strategies by completely different companies, each paying a lot of money to marketing specialists to find the optimal solution. Which of the two is better? I don't know and like I said it is not really worth arguing over.

I'd still rather see stuff like metroid Prime 4 years from release than knowing nothing for the foreseable future.

Oh, my son is going to love this if true.

At his age, waiting even 2 years between releases is like a lifetime, I can't tell you how often many times he's asked me for news about this game since since finishing Miles Morales. I kept telling him it's at least a year away.

Since 2017 there would have been a lot of trailers. You would have, what? Trailers for Direct 2018, Direct 2019, Direct 2020, Direct 2021, Direct 2022 at least, right? Showing half finished design decisions and concepts and don't forget the reboot that happened to the project. Now you're being shown new concepts and people are thinking about the previous things that were now scrapped. I mean I guess you could like this kind of stuff, especially if you are interested about the development process, but the game would not be any closer to the actual release. More likely it would be delayed even further if the studio had to dedicate resources for new marketing content and creating vertical slices every year to show to the public.

Except the entire point of doing this PS5 will be to remove the forced blu-ray tray. They won't keep the price we're seeing for the standard PS5 right now. It'll sell at the same price as the digital PS5 right now, worst case scenario. Add to that a black friday discount, and you got yourself a win.

Remember how the first Spider-Man had a black friday bundle where Sony went crazy and sold a PS4 + Spider-Man for 200 dollars?

400 dollars for a console that has been out for 3 years will not be that huge of a discount by then.
Specially if the rumors about Sony wanting to sell 30M PS5 during its next fiscal year are true...they must have something up their sleeve for sure, right?
The entire point of doing this is to save Sony expenses. This thing will be a minimum of $500 with a $150 disc drive, calling it.

Tag, you're it.
Can't wait to play it on PC when it release but I hope the swinging is less automated/weird when close to the ground this time.
And please, no more MJ stealth missions...
