Pretty common for Nintendo games. They send review copies very early.I can't believe this is still more than three weeks away but review copies are out.
Weird that review copies are out, but the embargo doesnt drop until April 20th

Is Falco amiibo the 'glass cannon' mode? That would suck, I thought that option would be included.
I would be much more interested in this if it was on the 3DS..
And honestly, from the looks of it, seems like that might have been the original plan
what the fuck is this?
We don't know if this is amiibo exclusive or if the amiibo is just an insta-unlock while it is a post game reward or something without that.

To me, it seems like Nintendo wanted to give Star Fox its The Force Awakens equivalent. Something that's heavily based on a previous installment as a way to get the series back on track after years of middling/mediocre/bad installments.
Nintendo is always super early with review copies unlike pretty much every other publisher.

None of this makes sense. The game exists because of the independent viewpoint pitch, something which is wholly impossible on a 3DS and only possible on a Wii U.
... But the 3DS has two screens. Playing devils advocate, you can show two different viewpoints at once, if you wanted to.
