He's 23I guess he looks pretty badass for a 12-year old who is about to save the universe.

Any idea if there will be a PC version?
anime games should try to look like cartoons, i've always hated the xenosaga/star ocean approach of making em look like creepy dolls.
Was glad to hear that, hope he acts the part.
Iirc Kagari (?) mentioned that SCEJ had a hand in making this happen so maybe not.

so there will also be no x1/360 version then i guess?
So it's like Final Fantasy then. Tech and Magic. Shame. Would have been nice to see a true sci-fi RPG. Something a bit different now-a-days.
Xbone/360 versions are very likely a no goso there will also be no x1/360 version then i guess?
SFV was announced from the get go as having a PC version so that was likely always a part of the dealWell that's not a sure thing if we go by SFV, but it does lower the chances quite a bit.

Damn he's practically a senior citizen by JRPG protagonist standards. I'm sure he will be slaughtering trained enemy soldiers by the dozen by the time he hits level 5.He's 23

Sure it can happen to this but I wouldn't hold my breath
The hypebole is strong. I think they would have to do a decent amount writing wise to get worse than SO4.
Considering the only major reason SO3 even gets any shit is because of the twist, as long as they avoid something like that, a fairly straightforward adventure should already be better

Well since Sony is involved I'd imagine those are the platforms they definitely wouldn't want it on.
16 imo, a couple of years ahead of the intended Japanese target audience for this game as usualI get that he's not grizzled caucasian war veteran but in no way does he look young enough to be 12. At LEAST he looks 18-19.
That town picture is not promising. Looks very empty lol.
Any other platforms would have been announced already. For instance DDO or SFV.
indeed, but the game is in production. they might populate the world with npc's later

damn i always ignored the atelier games, but i have to admit and repeat myself, those are some fine character models. An perfect transition of those anime designs
Why aren't other JRPG's using this style? What a shame
If you consider him to be an asian bishounen, yes he does.He doesn't even look close.

Love Fidel (lol, what a name) and this character:
That witch is just... ugh. I'd take Lymle over her any day (and I hate Lymle with a burning passion).
The character models look very out of place. Looks like they are shopped in.
How's this?
Moved eyes closer (a very small amount) and upped the noes and did some defining. Also smoothed the face, yes even more.
That's great, but only if he acts his age. The in-game model looks like it belongs to a teenager. He's 23
What's wrong with your faaaaaaaace?
That looks a lot more naturalHow's this?

Dont even notice a difference. Dont think the default looks weird either, though.
It takes a lot of talent to be able to translate 2D art into 3D models that stay true to the source material while being easy on the eyes.anime characters look fucking weird in quasi-realistic rendering
