There's a chance that if they do proper public beta testing, it might not be as bad as the BF4 launch.

But DICE and launch bugs go hand in hand.

Not approaching this from a console warrior intent, I would think that Sony would pull the marketing rights considering everything Microsoft already has rights to this coming holiday.

They have their own game in Halo 5, they have the holiday exclusive rights to Tomb Raider. I assume they are keeping Call of Duty rights for the foreseeable future and I think the Assassins Creed marketing deal was probably a multi year thing as well.

I would think Sony would want something big to market with Uncharted delayed.

Considering that they've been working on the game since May 2013, have all of the data from BF4 and Hardline's development and patching, and is current gen only, I don't believe it will be buggy on release. Despite being ugly, Hardline's launch has been the best in Frostbite Battlefield history.
