Well, the young 'un has been hinting that he wants his own PS4 for Christmas so I guess this will do.
Shame about the small HDD though.

I think the console looks OK. The DS4 is thematic, I suppose, but it does look a bit strange.

They should make the console use the Darth Vader lightsaber power up/down sounds when you turn it on and off.
The Master Replicas Force FX Darth Vader lightsaber was always one of the best sounding ones.

It was never mentioned specifically, but exclusive marketing deals usually mean exclusive marketing rights to the IP, not just one game. That's how MS were able to bundle & advertize Black Flag with their Xbox last year even though Sony had marketing rights for that game when it launched.

That controller looks bad.

I kinda understand what they were trying to design it after, (the light and dark side for L1 and R1, vader for body, and vaders lightsaber for the face buttons) but the execution sucks.

They should have just focused on one element and made something out of that instead of multiple.

Console looks ok. Vader looks kinda cartoony.

EDIT: I just noticed the star wars logo is plastered all over the non vader parts of the console.

Doesn't look anything special. While the Darth Vader art is cool, the console doesn't look unique enough (looks like a sticker on a regular PS4 console). The controller looks like something a monkey at a mod shop would put together. 1/10

How are they clearing any stocks if these units haven't even been shipped? I don't really know the whole process but aren't they manufacturing these from scratch with the art? Or they just assemble old pieces of hardware and put the new case?
