Um... you know you can just swap the hard drive for a 1TB, right? I did that to put a 7200 Hybrid in mine, since it's faster than the standard, and faster than what the 1TB they'd have put in anyway.

I think the controller is a bit much lol but I love the look of the console. Vader that's all I need. Already about to save up for this and trade in my current PS4 in towards this when it's released.

So if EB games listing is anything to go by:

Destiny TTK 500GB console is $569 AU = $399 in the US

AU is getting 1TB SWB console for $599 AU = $449 but US is getting 500GB which means it's gonna be $399 in the US.

That means if all LE consoles are $399 now instead of $449 (LE Arkham and White Destiny Bundle), that means a $50 price drop is imminent, maybe TGS the latest because of TTK Sept 15 release.

Interesting if true, a price drop coming up would explain why they decided to not talk about the price of these bundles. I still think Paris Games Week is the most likely place for a price drop announcement.

people who keep going and saying that the controller is supposed to match vader's panel as if that negates how ugly it looks it doesn't matter that it's based off of something in the series, vader's panel works because it has some sense of symmetry even with the different colors. bringing those colors to the controller make it look asymmetrical and kind of haphazard.

True enough. Logos on special/limited edition PS4's seems way too prevalent. At least it had that going for it.

IIRC mostly everyone was loving it when first unveiled. Of course, there are always people who find something ugly, but the overwhelming majority had a positive reaction to the PS4's design.
