Has RTM posted anything regarding the D23 teaser?
well Finn is 23 years old and we apparently witness his first combat mission. this is despite being kidnapped as a child and "trained for most his life to be an effective, loyal, and merciless soldier. " how you run an intergalactic space nazi empire where you kidnap children and force them to be soldiers, but wait until they are 23 to start sending them out to fight, is a pretty good question.
No, people remember what happened in the new movies they just arent interested in grossly misrepresenting the original films and ignoring context in order to prop up them up is all.
Palpatine in death, communicates with Darth Pelagius and together they both learn how to resurrect themselves into the physical world. They plan for years how to retake the galaxy and reinstate the sith.
Rey beats Kylo, and sees that Palpatine/Pelagius are far stronger than she. Rey turns to the dark side but keeps herself true to the light. She learns Palpatine's resurrection secret, and she's able to temporally summon Luke and Anakin to kill the two super sith in a final battle. Luke and Anakin return as force ghosts.

As fan theory as It could be, seeing Luke and Anakin finally fight side to side after more than 40 years...man, I'd cry for days lolPalpatine in death, communicates with Darth Pelagius and together they both learn how to resurrect themselves into the physical world. Looks like a pathetic bait and switch. This movie is officially a skip. They can't even hold a fucking candle to the prequels.

Would be ironic to end the ST with a rejected early version of the ROTJ ending, considering the real ending was already rendered pointlessAs fan theory as It could be, seeing Luke and Anakin finally fight side to side after more than 40 years...man, I'd cry for days lol

Making Star Wars has a pretty solid track record with spoilers for all previous Disney wars.
I just read some of the leaks....
It's so dumb it has to be true.
I miss George.
C3PO's wiped memory from the end of rots contain th consciousness of the emperor. Palpatine was already confirmed Vader's dad in the comics. Vader built 3po... as a conduit or watchful eye of the emperor on his ... children and grandchildren. It all goes back to the blockade runner. C3po being the emperor is the dumbest fucking idea of all time
I'm not a Star Wars geek or obsessive "this product must conform with prior world building & canon" sort of fanboy. But if any of that is true (namely the C3PO stuff) it's actually disgusting. Yep, I 'm literally "wow, just wow" right now. Forget Zoe Quinn or faux #melietoo sexual assault claims on social media, Disney would be laughing in our face whilst inserting a giant Mickey Mouse shaped dildo into the collective backside of childhood memories in western world with that story. Rape is rape, and this one is gonna be painful.
On the upside at least Rey (a really terrible character) would be forever associated with the worst Star Wars movies ever - even worse than Hayden Christensen's "I find sand coarse & rough & irritating" stuff. That's quite an achievement. If the financial backlash is big enough, perhaps next time (because this is Star Wars & there will be another one), they might actually hire decent writers who outline a real plot from the first movie in the trilogy & don't just make shit up as they go along.
Just kidding, it's gonna be shit until Disney relinquishes ownership.
Yeah I'm just tired of the double standards. They announce the EU is done, it never happened, then they immediately start ripping off EU concepts. They announce George is being kept away then they poorly use all of his ideas while creating little themselves. They tell us we are stupid for having theories and getting invested in a story then they want us to care about some bullshit trailer shot guaranteed to have no impact on a story that they are either making up as they go along or have always had planned out. Tell us "the past is over get over it nerd" for two years straight while also dropping tv shows about Boba Fett, Obi Wan, and the guy from Rogue One (a prequel about a prequel!)." Fanservice is strong here, my friend! "
At this point, if fanservice has to be, I hope they Bring back Mace Windu, who Samuel L. Jackson and George Lucas both consider aliveYeah I'm just tired of the double standards. They aren't fooling anyone and watching them flail around wallowing in their own failure is the best thing to come from the whole ST
It's gonna be fun watching all the fallout from this film come December.
And Leia is cracking wise mere scenes after her torture and seeing her entire planet get nuked. Fucking millions, possibly billions lost, but ANH thinks it's more important to leave the big scene of someone feeling sad for Luke grieving over the old dude he knew for a day (because fuck his aunt and uncle, I guess).
#priorities
Kylo Ren literally executes an entire village at the start. Multiple planets are destroyed. A father is killed by his own son. Oh yeah, Disney really made to keep everything nice and family-friendly. I really didn't like how Rogue One ended with Jyn and all her team walking away without a single scratch and living happily ever after, so tame and safe, blech.
Finn didn't kill anyone in the village, he raised his gun and then lowered it without firing a shot. Also, who said the other FO members were his friends, every single FO character we see shows no sign of friendship, Kylo and Hux hate each other, Phasma betrays the FO to save her own life, Snoke verbally tears Kylo apart for failing him, etc. Oh yeah, what a big, loving family they are, I'd certainly get worked up killing any of these fine folks.
Why would Finn have PTSD already, the start of the movie is his first mission ever. He sees innocent people get executed, said, "fuck this", and split. And why would he feel guilty about attacking his FO soldiers? Again, he just saw them execute a village of defenseless people who were guilty of jack and shit, he also isn't a dumbass and knows there's no point in grieving over those who will now kill him on the spot for being a deserter, and he also witnesses the FO use Starkiller to wipe out millions, possibly billions, of lives so yeah, don't think he has much of a reason to feel bad about killing FO soldiers. He does show fear of facing the FO at their full strength which is why he plans to run away halfway through the film, only coming back because Rey was captured. And then of course people who don't fucking pay attention didn't understand why he was running at the start of TLJ even though he flat out tells Han on Starkiller that he's only on the mission for Rey, it's only at the end of TLJ does he show himself becoming a full member of the Resistance.
This is why I have so many issues with people's criticisms of TFA/TLJ because it's blatantly obvious many of them saw these movies a grand total of once and can't remember all of it. Finn flat out spelled out his motivation in TFA's final act yet so many people are like, "durr, why is he abandoning the Rebels at the start of TLJ?!" I remember another person claiming Rey had no reason to know she was Force-sensitive when she resisted Kylo's mind-reading. Yeah, just a crazy Force vision when she touched Luke's lightsaber and Maz flat out telling her, clearly Rey jumped to conclusions!
I don't remember ANH showing Luke showing much issue with shooting stormtroopers, he just does it like it's no big deal. And by your argument, well Luke wanted to go to the Imperial Academy that all his friends had gone to already so they could already be stormtroopers and thus Luke could be killing his friends for all he knows.
Man, ANH clearly would have been better if it had gone like this:
Han: Kid, we gotta go!
Luke: But, but Han, that stormtrooper might have had a family!
(Chewie roars)
Han: Chewie says, "yeah, who gives a shit, these people are planet-murderers, for fucks sake"
Finn was such a cynical ploy. he was the first new character in the ST, showing up in a Stormtrooper costume. what a surprise! it raised questions: will we follow a Stormtrooper then? well, for about 3 or 4 minutes, yes. is he the new hero? well, again, kind of, but not really. like everything, Finn was a great concept with a poor execution. the tease was better than the reality. this is JJ's specialty.
then they showed him wielding a lightsaber. not just a lightsaber, Luke's one that he inherited from his father. this was big. would we have a black Jedi lead hero in the new trilogy? no. all that was smoke and mirrors. in fact, he is made into a clown, he is constantly belittled and looked at with suspicion by his "friends". he is considered a coward in both films, despite facing the main villain of the series in a lighstaber fight that ends with him HAVING HIS SPINE SLICED WITH A LIGHTSABER. yet this is not proof that he is fighting for the good guys. it doesn't matter that it happened anyways, he is up walking around the next day, wearing a giant plastic leaky diaper.
It's funny when the first trailer hit I was actually pretty annoyed with Finn. I was expecting a female lead but the whole thing focused on him and his being a stormtrooper didnt make any sense.
Speaking about Finn, how much chances in your opinion to see him turn Jedi?
very unlikely. He is probably gonna pair with the new female character and have a romance with her.
The one that wasn't even in the new trailer lol?

Rose?very unlikely. He is probably gonna pair with the new female character and have a romance with her.
I wanted this the moment I saw him pick up thay lightsaber in the TFA trailer.
I think Boyega would do really good job selling the lightsaber combat.
Unfortunately it's a good idea though so they def won't use it lol
rose is busy with her work being upper branches in the resistance and he probably starts dating naomi.Rose?
And you can't reason with people who don't see that Luke Skywalker has the same flaws. Basically zero training yet he still gets powers and in episode 4 he has everything handed to him on a silver platter with no effort on his behalf.
Dunno why, but I always had a feeling he could be Force sensitive, or something like this, and be in some way good to be a future jedi
He's very skilled with the lightsaber too, thanks to the stormtrooper training, its fights in general were really impressive
What?
He gets his ass beat by Vader and loses his hand proving Yoda right that he wasn't prepared to fight Vader.
Even on Hoth he only survives because he slightly uses the force to grab his lightsaber and kill the Yeti monster. He was hanging upside down at this point.
Episode 5 he becomes a bad ass because he trained with Yoda and had started to become a master in the force. Its clear throught the movies that Luke is a bit special and is quick to pick things up. He fixes R2 and C3PO, he becomes a hero fighter pilot with the Rebels, so it makes sense that he would become a master Jedi under Yoda's tutelage.
And even still he almost sucumbs to the dark side when all seems lost in the Emperors throne room.
