Like what are you talking about? Dude I just said why I called out Tyler rob, can you tead? All Panda said is why, so I questioned him. Like why what? He always does that drive by shit so I called him on it. What you want me to do? Tell me. Get outta here man.

Yea, your boys. Not the first time you felt the need to come to their rescue.
This is what I'm talking about. You are more mad at people without explaining why.

I never talked to Robb btw. Panda, I do talk to on discord but that's it. Being "boys" to me mean actually meeting in real life and interacting with a person.

Maybe you think internet relationships are real or something.

In Canada, what version of the game do I buy today to be able to have all the the content and the free update come Jan?

Capcom really made SfV too confusing.

They can still leave the items for purchase though. Mortal Kombat X still has Blue Steel Sub-Zero and Krimson Ermac for sale.

I understand the the limited logic, but it doesn't make it less bad. People should donate because they want to donate.

Also, things that are usually aimed for donations aren't usually discounted or bundled together so waiting for a bundled up item doesn't make sense.

That just gives people less incentive to buy this year's CPT DLC, when they know they can just get a big ass bundle next year with this year's and next year's.

This is not some new tactic. Fundraising drives for all kinds of things offer up exclusive perks to encourage people to give up the cash in a limited time.

Why would Capcom offer a bundle? Just keep every years bundle separate and sell them full price.

I do get the idea behind limited time tactic but not so sure if it is better than having the content always avaible.

I just explained why, like 3 times dude. You're like intentionally ignoring what in saying. Like me explain it to you since you can't seem to get it out your head. I called out Tyler rob because all he does is shit post in these threads... You with me so far bro? He's being hypocritical when he's on the opposite end and at least Jett is providing examples into the discussion that was going on, so I called him out because it always happens. I hope you got that. Panda quoted my posted and I replied, it's not rocket science dude. If you don't want me to think That, maybe you should mind your business because I was replying to a posted that quoted me.

Any version. If you want the DLC characters from s1 and s2 get the AE version or digital deluxe 2017.

Even if it's separate bundles, it's limited time because the Pro Tour only goes on for a limted time. If people know they can just pick up the CPT 2017 bundle whenever, they have no reason to hurry up and get it before Capcom Cup 2017. Capcom made the DLC expressly to raise money for Capcom Cup 2017. If people buy it in 2018, it's not raising the money Capcom wanted to raise.

1st of all it's quite simple. 2nd of all you might as well wait for AE, you would be better off.

It's a Street Fighter V thread, how could you possibly expect positivity?
Ill talk shit all day about sfv but this is a pretty good update they just need to not fall flat on their face with the balance changes and the game is completely salvageable after like everything is already in place for a really good game it's just a mess atm and I hope this update fixes it. I love all the new characters and look and animations but playing the game feels bad atm when I spend any effort to take it seriously and I really want to be able to take a sf game seriously again. I really wish this was the first release and everyone was just playing ultra this whole time the time gap between its release plus more.time to cook sfv would have gone a long way

Are there any Capcom cosplay costumes you guys would like to see as Extra Battle unlockables?
  • Bison as Wesker (trenchcoat-wearing, purple energy-infused villains) and Cammy as RE5 Jill (brainwashed blonde kick specialists) make a lot of sense.
  • On the goofier side of things, a bunch of characters could have costumes inspired by Mega Man Robot Masters: Ken as Fire Man, Zangief as Guts Man, Laura as Elec Man, Kolin as Ice Man, and so on.
  • Birdie could cosplay Arthur since they're both bearded, British comic relief characters. He'd wear an ill-fitting suit of armor and boxers with little donuts on them.
  • Alex could dress like fellow wrestling-obsessed New Yorker Frank West. He could even have an optional Servbot helmet.
  • Akuma or Necalli as Asura is a good fit.
  • Menat could either play up the cat pose angle with a Felyne hat and costume or she could dress like fellow fortune teller Rouge.

I already got the game and S1 pass, I was looking for Capcom to copy those other more successful fighters and put all DLC into one package.

They failed. Again.
Holy fuck at least inform yourself. FM is the system through which you are able to unlock some stuff like alt. colors, stages and story costumes. If you've been playing every now and then and bought the season passes, or at least one of them, chances are you've amassed enough FM to buy all the stages released so far (excluding the premium CPT ones), also, you're not meant to have every single costume in this game unless you're ready to shell out a couple hundred bucks, some they've been releasing several costumes during SFV's lifespan, so putting all those costumes in the $40 package that is AE is simply not possible unless you want them to release a pricier product. If you are jumping in for the first time then you'll be able to gather quite a lot of FM by playing with all 28 characters, doing their stories, trials, easy and medium survivals (pretty doable even if you can't really play the character), and there's the general story mode (80k FM in total) plus weekly missions and whatever new ways of earning FM that Capcom will be implementing.

Even the fans make it difficult...

Barring some kind of sale, all of your options for getting everything in SFV:AE will either cost more than $40 or will involve grinding for lots of FM.

Quick check tells me SFV Deluxe is $65 right now at Green Man Gaming, which will basically have everything the Arcade Edition will have when the update hits.

I've got no problem grinding as long as its fun and rewarding. Survival isn't fun but this Arcade Mode thing looks to be the opposite.

I think you misunderstand him.

The SFV devs are supposed to live, work and breath to create content for our entertainment, at minimum wage. So we can get all the content in a neat cheap 40$ package.
Heck who needs money? They should feel honored, that we allow them to entertain us with their piece of software.

I know some people wouldn't like it because they would rather have a new game but Rival Schools/Power Stone/Cyberbots/Star Gladiator costumes would be cool.

I know it's been answered but I want to ask: I have the vanilla version and bought the first season pass on sale. So if I get the second season pass, when its on sale, then there's no point for me to buy SFV AE? Just to let you know, I haven't spent FM on anything yet. I didn't buy stages, colors, or costumes.

I would definitely get this on PC, but don't have a PC that could run this game.

Amen. Blows my mind how entitled people here can act over additional content as if the people that work on extra content for the games they enjoy to play don't have mouths to feed, rent to pay etc.

If people want something to complain about, complain about Forza loot boxes, not this. It's actually an extremely fair package.

Yeah, pretty much. You'll have the 12 dlc characters and their premium costumes with their colors unlocked.

If you bought season 1 and 2 passes then you don't need Arcade edition.

I already got the game and S1 pass, I was looking for Capcom to copy those other more successful fighters and put all DLC into one package.

Except the biggest pieces of DLC were put into this package, which are far & away the characters. The stages are almost entirely earnable, with the exception of the CPT stages. As for other fighters, many of them are never supported or iterated on as long as a Street Fighter game is. There is still 3-4 more years of support planned for SFV even after SFV AE drops, so they couldn't even package all the DLC into this one package. Heck, SFV AE doesn't even come with a Season 3 pass - thats going to be on the individual to either earn the characters or purchase the pass separately.

There are only 2 other more successful fighting games - Smash & NRS fighting games. NRS fighting games put all the DLC characters into one package, but an NRS fighter is also not supported past 2 years cause they have another game they want you to buy & support. As for Smash 4, that game doesn't have an all-inclusive package into the game either. Also to take note of - neither game has an in-game currency system you can use to earn the cosmetic DLC yourself.

If all ya wanna do is shit on Capcom, go ahead; its not like they don't deserve it for some moves they've made. But the SFV AE package ain't one of them.

I'd love a Chun-Li as Morrigan costume for Extra Battle. Also, maybe we could have some Phoenix Wright costumes as well.

Alternatively, if the 2017 Deluxe edition is discounted to around $40 (which it has been on numerous occasions on both platforms) you can buy that before AE releases and you'll be in exactly the same position.

Yup it's bound to dip potentially down to 30 bucks on a steam sale too jump on that when you see it if you are interested in the game

I might be low balling that actually, I'm not sure it ever went that low, but now that they've announced the 40 dollar price for AE they are pretty much forced to drop deluxe that low in the next PSN/Steam sale.

hey_it's_that_dog

Been dropped that low at least 2-3 times this year.
40 for the whole deal? I'm in Canada so I wouldn't have seen that price anyway which is probably why I'm confused about whether it happened.

My brother bought it last time it was on steam sale and I thought it was closer to 50 USD.

Get this.

Or just buy the existing version and pay for both seasons, which will be more expensive. Jan update is free for all current owners. It’s not confusing.

If you can snag the digital deluxe for $40 in the next few months- do it. There's no downside to waiting, it's the same thing as the disc/console "Arcade Edition", just without the free updates coming in January.
