I can't believe there are Boku no Pico reaction videos.

Some people will do anything for attention.
Agreed, The sequels are so much better. Adding in another shota partner... then making it a three way with a third. Its creativity at its finest.

is your avatar what i think it is?

I can recognize 4 of them, but who is the blond with the spiky hair. Do they take on their female counterpart's personality? ie. Does bro Mugi like that boys' love?

Yuru Yuri 1-2

So boring and generic. The entire time I was just looking at the timer waiting for the episode to end. I think only KamiMemo competes with it in the boring departments.

But hey breast dribble was pretty funny.

There are still people who haven't seen Boku no pico? And you guys call yourself anime fans?

smh
I haven't seen it (nor School Days), but know all about them thanks to all these seasonal threads. Does that make me a good or bad anime fan?!

...ese work ethic.
Man, I was born in Vietnam which, I dare say, is a country whose people are more 'violent' than the Japanese. Even so, I still didn't see that kind of employee abuse.

Granted, this is anime, but still.

Missing out on the essentials of our time.

Ah, right, there was this too. Too bad the PV has only been a tease
so far.
I would not mind an anime adaptation.

I tried to read a plot summary of Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon. Is it supposed to be a parody of plots which make no sense or something?

It is our savior.

Seriously though, I'll be damned if I'm not fascinated by the plot summary and want to watch it just to see if something that makes any kind of sense can be made from that.

If only the anime were an actual parody of something...

Oh, it'll make plenty of sense alright. You're forgetting who's doing the adaptation!

Last I heard it was some kind of OVA. God knows, it would kill KyoAni to deviate from cute girls cute things nowadays >_> (still bitter about FMP)

What I would want to see more than anything is for KyoAni to apply their considerable animation talents to a show completely different from anything they've ever done. Too bad it'll probably never happen.

Shin Koihime Musou Otome Tairan OVA - I didn't know this season was getting an OVA too, so this was a great surprise to see appear... I was thinking that the series was done. Well, it might be done now, but at least we got this!

This OVA is essentially a followup to the OVA from the first season of Koihime Musou, which means that it's set in a modern Japanese girls' high school, with the cast as the students. Shin Koihime Musou (season 2) had a completely stupid "OVA" that was literally just a concert -- the entire episode happens during a concert that the main characters were holding, and most of the episode was taken up with singing. Not good. Fortunately, there's none of that this time. This one's a solid comedy episode, as expected from this show, just in the different (Japanese school) setting of the first season's OVA. While most of it is fanservice -- there's not much of a plot here, just the various groups of cast members acting as you expect them to given their behavior in the main series -- it's good anyway because the characters are entertaining and most of the situations, if stereotypical, reasonably well thought out. There was another stupid part with Sui, which is too bad because she should have been a better character than they usually used her as, but apart from that the humor was solid.

The main group have a cafe, Enshou and co. hold a play (
the ridiculous swan-head costumes make a reaturn... :lol[./spoiler]), the three idols have a concert, the southern country group form a band (
wearing short Chinese dresses
, etc. It does about as well as it could, trying to cover so many characters in such a short period of time, really. So yeah, it was good, but this is definitely only for people who watched the show.

I don't expect a fourth season, but maybe... :)

Copihan 1 - Huh... this is another short-episodes show (~6-7 minutes, including op). It's a comedy set in school... yeah, haven't seen that theme often before. It is entertainingly, though, this one's pretty funny. Episode 1 is about a girl on the (boy's) baseball team. She's really good. The episode cuts off annoyingly at the end, but that was the joke... I guess they wanted to frustrate the audience. Oh well, it was good stuff.

Ep. 2 - This episode is about two girls who do the school's midday radio show. It is again funny, with plenty of entertaining, and intentionally lame, jokes filling its short length. I kind of wish this show had full-length episodes, they do quite well with what time they have and it makes me want more. :)

Double J 4 - Having watched ep. 2 of Copihan I wanted to watch some more of the other two short animes. Unfortunatley, this episode of Double J was just as awful as the previous three. This show is just bad. It's not very funny, the art is poor, the animation (intentionally, probably because of an incredibly low budget) nearly non-existent, the episodes much more boring than entertaining... there's a reason I put this show last on my list of shows this season, it's bad.

Nyanpire 8 - Yeah, I skipped a few. That doesn't mean much in a show like this, though. In this episode, the cats go to the summer festival. They all wear yukatas, and samurai cat tries to attract Nyanpire again. He's not too successful. :) This episode is about as good as the other episodes of this show I've seen -- that is, moderately amusing and silly, but nothing great.

No, look at how thick those books are. It's just complex, which means the anime will surely struggle to cover it all...

Arjuna Ep. 1

You guys were right, this really is quite something. I can already tell this is going to be an unforgettable experience.
Yeah, it's unique all right. I did somewhat like it, through the first eight episodes or so at least (it gets even crazier after that), though... the show goes completely overboard,

I definitely don't think it's boring, but I guess that's somewhat a matter of taste. As for generic though, it's not generic! Yuri anime is actually uncommon, often the only "yuri" is in harem shows where the girls are in love with a guy too. That isn't the case here.

KyoAni's slogan: Sorry, but there's money to be made.
