Okay. I wasn´t joking, Air Gear is great. Only downside is that the anime stops in the middle of stuff, manga continues.
It is seriously so much fun.
I don't care if people think it is shit really, the show made me smile. It was like Jet Grind Radio in an anime.

Air Gear?

urrrrrgggghh

Manga is total shit.

Well, that explains that Ghost in the Shell episode.

Tiger and Bunny - 23

What. The. Fuck.

Have they run out of budget? or are they saving for some super fuck awesome finale?

Lots of face shots everywhere (yes. face shots), the way
Bunny remembers Kotetsu is kind of stupid given that he was under memory control of Maverick for what I assume was for at least 2 full decades, which I hope the explanation is that Maverick's powers are waning just like Kotetsu's.
tears were shed, not the manly type but the love and friendship ones. Then the story shifts into this whole
Terminator/I Robot
nonsense with another form of heart and friendship business going on with the rest of the heroes.

I don't know whether to brace myself for a fabulous ending to the series, or to stick my ass out and wait to get rammed hard.

"It's only good because it's bad"? That only makes sense if the music is supposed to be a parody, along the lines of Mozart's A Musical Joke. I don't see Denpa Onna's OP as attempting that.
Bad singing is moe, or something.

Idolmaster Ep8

Great episode, and one of the best so far. Insane, illogical, but oh so entertaining. It feels like an animated adaptation of some spinoff action adventure RPG where idols do side quests around a city. So good.

Idolmaster Ep9

This series just keeps staying awesome. Another offbeat and original episode with detective mystery mixed with odd ball comedy segments. Great stuff. How can a show that feels so wrong, end up being so right? Who knows, but who really cares. Embrace the moe!

Pendrum Ep7

Didn't really like this episode much. The Ringo storyline feels artificially stretched, and gags which were funny 3 episodes ago are less funny now when they're repeated without as much finesse. One of the weakest episodes yet.

Pendrum Ep8

The first half of the episode seem to feel diluted dude to how long this arc has been going, and a lot of the impact is being watered down by the poor lead up in the previous episode. But luckily things seem to be moving faster now, and the rest of the episode introduced more interesting elements into the dynamics. Much better direction than the previous episode in general too.

Blood C 08

What the hell? LoL
He sees a huge pool of blood, a man chopped in half, and he thinks its SAYA'S BLOOD?!
I think the Lder Brain attack could of better choreographed, it made it as if Saya was slow to react which wasn't the intention I think. Music and Soundtrack continue being the best thing in the show. Further development about Saya's past and supposed Mother.

Dantalian no Shoka 08

Two episodes in one really.
First is the "Book of Equivalence" which allowed you to barter for items based upon their owners desire for the item. Camilla runs around town trading items, slowly towards more precious items... al just for a rare teddy bear for Dantalian. They played up the dangers of the book, only to defuse it through Camila's foolishness.

Second episode is "Book of Relationship", where Armand the womanizer makes his return. Overall a comedic episode. Although I wish they'd get towards the overarching plot, and stop this monster of the week buisness.

It's almost as if the show is badly written and directed, thus confusing their actual intent with certain aspects of Saya's character.

Plot twist:
Saya never promised to protect anyone. Hence the trouble remembering it.

I avoid crowd-sourcing for anime recommendations and go by specific critics. The fanbase has pretty bad taste overall, which is my way of saying I don't like that they like.
Well it'd be pretty strange if most anime fans had good taste. If that was true we'd actually get good shows most of the time instead of Angel Beats/Oreimo.

The plot twist isn't much of a mystery at this point. It's just badly executed and probably not a good idea anyway.

I thought it did well to portray her as a retarded ditz of a character.

Jexhius said:
Well it certainly isn't easy!

Most other mediums have like, a pantheon of well respected critics and hundreds of other possibles in magazines, newspapers etc.

It's pretty bad when gaming has more respectable journalists than your medium.

Well, I supposed there might be some good Japanese ones, but those don't help us much.

Hey now. Watch it. I spent good money on those shows.

Have you ever thought that it is perhaps you with the poor taste?

I don't know if it really works that way. Even when lots of anime fans like a work, on the internet, you don't always see them going out there to support it.

Even though I agree that this episode was re-treading old ground with some awkward direction, I still enjoyed the episode and the gags, oddly enough.

Kamisama no memochou 09
Good episode made up for last weeks. A typical baseball episode, but involving characters I didn't think we'd meet again. It's unique to see these morally grey side characters get fleshed out.

Next episode involves Ayaka, her Brother, and what appears to be some kind of drug(A pill stamped with AF). Preview hints that something bad happens to Ayaka, and I suspect will wade into the much darker territory that we saw in the first 2 episodes

I'm liking this show more than I thought I would.

Yeah, I was there for you and Duckroll's discussion of it last night.

I really liked the party scene and the frog scene, while ultimately pointless, was quite amusing.
