As much BS we've had with loot boxes, It's been a pretty good year.
I can't remember the last time I've been less interested in AAA but kept a keen eye on the small publishers.

Nintendo on the other other hand seems to have come swinging out the gate.
I'm really looking forward to what Nintendo is going to bring to the table.

I just had to stop watching after a couple of minutes because he speaks so fast that he gives me a headache. I get that for some reason this type of speech is very popular on Youtube but personally i can't stand it. Maybe i'm too old i don't know.

But on the topic itself yeah i do agree that 2017 was a phenomenal year for Japanese devs and for gaming in general. Thankfully the games that had loot boxes never interested me in the first place so i can't say they affected me in any way. Here's hoping that the backlash they received will teach them that they can't get away with shit like that.

And yes it's great to see Nintendo going strong again!Haven't bought a Switch yet but it's definitely in my plans at some point.
