I don't understand why they're doing it this way, though. If it's anything like the E3 demo, you should be able to just turn off one of the players and have them spectate. Why would they remove that feature?

There's no way he won't have a hell of an uneven set of match ups though.
I am still confident that Mac is below average. Dabuz is really good at the game. He was doing well with a bunch of random characters.

Yeah that's true. I do agree with the point that it will likely depend on match-up
It would have yo be a character in a rotation.
It's basically a stage control option that has very little range and doesn't stay out long enough.
He has what is basically like melee Fox's laser though, except less range. Does 1% a hit, no hitstun and has very little end lag.

This reminds me of one of my favorite vanilla Brawl moments. Landing a reversed Warlock Punch on someone who had just been Falcon Punched after tripping into it.
Needless to say the rest of that set wasn't played out. (Yay rage-disconnects)
