I can answer a few of these:

- More difficult than Dancing All Night, by quite a margin. That said, I think the spread in difficulty is a lot larger as well. You shouldn't have any problem getting through the easy songs on 4TRAX. Hard tracks will present some challenge but nothing insurmountable. The higher difficulties will be tough, though, and the world tour mode will crush you initially.

- The game plays with both buttons and touch controls. You are free to pick whichever option suits you, whether that be buttons only, touchscreen only, or a combination of the two. No special controllers.

If it happens you can probably hit the PS button and swipe close the game before it saves.

You can just go back to song select from the pause menu if you lose your combo. You won't lose it unless you reach the score screen after the song. I did it right at the end of the song a few times while trying out some of the DLC songs today lol.

Ok, I played through a couple of songs 4 and 6 Trax and made the first step at world tour. I like the game so far, but I have yet to adjust myself. Played Persona Dancing All Night before and haven't decided wether to use touch or button controls.
What do you use?
Buttons is what I used at P4D. Difficulty seems on another level. Switched to hard in options ... switched back to normal, since there is little room for error there, maybe later ;-)

Some questions about DJ Ranking. At first sight it seems not so solid, but maybe I miss something. Rankings activated through options and restarted multiple times.
It needed some time/restarts, but than my score showed up. But only in "local" rankings not in "world" rankings!? Because maybe my level (28) is too low or ...? And what does "local" mean?
When tapping "go to list" (DJ Ranking) it sometimes does not show my name, sometimes it does!?

What an addicting game! Thank you PM Studios.
Not much going on here, but anyway. Have to get rid of some thoughts.

Reason for posting again is, that I really miss one thing here.
I think a "slow motion practice mode" of some kind should be added to this type of games. Ideal would be a mode where I can choose from a couple of different speeds.
25%, 50%, 75%, 100%
Technically I imagine this to be easy implemented!?

It's just so frustrating, when you start a song - lets say Stargazer - for the first time and quickly become overwhelmed by it. For me at least, it would be a real motivation to be able to practice this song with 50% speed and built upon that.

I'm playing drums for over 30 years and think I have an understanding on how muscle memory works. Whenever I learn new things as a drummer, I often practice slow, very slow. And work my way up, cause that's the best way for me to learn and automate things. I think that is true to most musicians and should be to a certain extent to this type of game. So this is my main only big downside to this game. Bang Bang Groove etc. ... how am I supposed to not get mad, when practicing such songs for the first time at full speed? ;-)

Right,so I just got back my Vita and I can finally give this a proper go. Does it take a long time for the gameplay to click? I mean DjMax is pretty straightforward but I'm having some trouble getting a hold of myself in superbeat, also I think my thumbs aren't long enough to play the 6Trax mode (or I should be holding the Vita some other way).

The PS4 Version includes all DLC from vita version bundled in-game, (Except Arc System Works songs that had to be removed due to licensing issues), But we are currently working on new DLC's for console editions.

EX Charts from World Tour might be available in freestyle in a upcoming patch, no ETA yet

I was actually wondering if it would need to be changed because two of the clubs featured in World Tour closed down in real life last year.

We aimed for a physical X1 release but sadly the minimum order amount was too high.

I would recommend you check on May 10th (when pre-orders begin) for the final price in your local Xbox Live as it may vary due to taxes, etc.

While we are currently working on new titles, XONiC for Switch it's not in our plans at the moment, but we might consider it if there's enough demand.

Gonna try to grab a physical copy of this because the soundtrack is a nice added bonus. Glad it's on PS4 now and I look forward to using a larger controller because I found it a bit tough on Vita using the buttons and mostly used touch. Still it's a fantastic game and I've been playing it off and on, on the Vita lately.
