Take-Two Reports Earnings: Borderlands 2 = 8.5M, NBA 5M, GTA V = 32.5 million

Crazy to me that this isn't a bigger thread. Gta5 sells through 32 million+ copies and only two pages? Ridiculous. How many games in history have even sold that many copies, let alone within a few months? Crazy sales, well deserved sales and really should be discussed more.

To ask again from earlier in the thread, what is gta4s Ltd sold through numbers and do we know how much gta4 sold in a similar time frame to 5?
Well, there was a separate thread on the 32.5 Million copies of GTA V.

TTWO is really annoying analysts and many gamers by being so closed lipped about their pipeline. At this point, we have know idea what Rockstar is working on at all except fixing up GTA Online. And then have many studios.

We know that 2K Sports will put out annual versions of NBA 2Kn and WWE.

And we recently learned about Evolve from 2K Games.

But that is IT when it comes to upcoming big releases. Everything else is just re-releases, bundles, and DLC. C'mon TTWO, open up the fucking tent.

Anyone else wonder what would've happened if EA had bought Take 2 when they were actively trying to? My guesses are:
- GTAV would've come out in 2010 and been a complete mess. It still would've sold really well but also would've irreparably hurt the franchise.
- Borderlands 2 would've been given realistic, gritty look and bombed.
- Civilization would be a F2P mobile game and that's it.
- The Bureau: XCOM Declassified would've been the only game in the series. No Enemy Unknown/Within.
- NBA 2k would've been a complete mess.

It's honestly too easy to figure out how EA would've fucked that company up.
