Tales of Festival 2015?

Since I can't find much info on this, I'll make my own thread and ask.
So Tales is Festival is today/tomorrow, but does anyone know if there will be a livestream? And what time? Any info is welcome.

Anything special you are looking forward to or hoping they'll announce? We will most likely see an announcement of a PlayStation 4 version of Tales if Zestiria. There has been many reports from various retailers of such a port, plus Bandai Namco themselves has said they cannot comment on anything until Tales of Festival.

EDIT: Tales Of Berseria has been announced for PS3 and PS4. Will feature a female protagonist who seems to be a pirate.

I want to see more Tales of remasters, and of course ToZ on PS4. I'm surprised there isn't a big thread for this yet.

Yeah, I'm surprised to. I thought there would be one by now, I'm really looking forward to see the eventual PS4 announcement of Tales of Zestiria for PS4.

They haven't announced a live stream as far as I'm aware. If any news drops, though, I'd expect it in the a.m. (like 6 a.m. ET) tomorrow morning.

Tales of Innocence R localization and Rebirth remake reveal. We shouldn't have any games missed in the series. Since Innocence R is for Vita, I think 3DS deserves the next remake.

At this point there are too many retailers listing for it not to be real. Plus the PS3 version was supposed to come out within six months of the Japanese version, and then NAMCO delayed it without any explanation.

If we gotta port/HD remaster beg, if you're wanting anything other than Destiny remake first, you're wrong.


I'm only expecting a formal PS4/Steam announcement for Zestiria.

You pay something between 80-200$ to be able to watch it in the audience, there is no reason for them to broadcast a live streaming of it. (not to mention they're selling dvd/bd of the ToF afterwards)

We only got a live streaming of the Tales of Symphonia Unisonant Pack/Chronicles announcement part (which was something like 10mn out of a 4 hours event) two years ago because it was announced as a worldwide release from the get go.
Otherwise it's a very Japanese centric event.

But we will get the info on almost real time with Twitter or other means, the eventual trailers will probably be uploaded in the hours/days following the event.

Don't expect anything big though, it's highly unlikely that a new mothership title will be announced there this year.

Oh, I see. Well that's understandable that they would stream that. I just thought they would because of ToS, so I took it for granted that was something they always did.

They don't announce those titles at ToF so I'm just expecting a ToZ port.

That was true until Tales of Xillia 2.

A PS4 port of Tales of Zestiria is also not enough, they will probably announce some kind of spin-off/escort title/port on something other than smartphones.

Even then we already knew that a new Tales game was coming a month prior and I'm not sure they would do that if it wasn't a direct sequel. Other announcements could be anime or mobile related.

This is the first year in a while that hasn't had a stream for any big announcements at the event actually.

They had one for 2012 (Xillia 2), one for 2013 (Symphonia), and one for 2014 (Zestiria information+trailer). That there isn't one this year is more abnormal than normal, but maybe they just have nothing to show yet.

Looks like we'll probably get conformation of the rumored ports in a couple of hours.

Bandai Namco themselves have been teasing stuff.

Game appeared in the Steam database as Tales of Zestiria. The second people found out it was changed to ToZ. It's being worked on actively too. So there is where the PC rumors come from.

Some time later retailers put up the PS4 version for preorder.

Tales of Zestiria is the obivous one. Not sure there will be any other game announcements for the franchise (remake/release or not), but once the PS4 version of Zestiria gets announced I hope Bandai Namco NA/EU give us release info and collector's edition info immediately.

Not at all. The Vesperia system wasn't the best, but it was certainly very good. It's just that they've used it for 3 differenr (Innocence R being the third) games already, which is more than any of the other systems.

People just feel like it's a step backward when you consider how far Graces and Xillia pushed the combat forward.

I'm only expecting Tales of Zestiria PS4 and PC, that's about it. Anything else major and i will be pleasantly surprised.

Right, the PC port. I dearly hope it comes to PC so I can stave off a PS4 for a bit longer, but ToF seems like not the place to reveal that? I dunno, I don't really have any expectations.

Tales of Zestiria PS4 is pretty much a lock.

I really hope they announce another remake or new game. Ideally, something that would make its way overseas.
