And, good god this keyboard is great to type on in landscape mode. Not so much in portrait mode when I have to type with two fingers.
Also, fun fact. I can't access the app store on the device in Canada. I can load apps from my Mac but the app store says that it's not available in my country while on the iPad. I hope they fix that,um, soon. If I still get an error message on April 24 then I will feel pretty damn silly :lol

I'm desperately trying to convince myself to wait for the 3g version and not run out an buy one tomorrow. The sad thing is I care more about the GPS reciever than the 3g radio. Why Apple, WHY?

Do you really plan on taking your iPad out in public that much ? Can you live without GPS in 1 of the 2 devices ? You can turn your iPhone into a WiFi hotspot for the iPad, so that makes the 3G redundant. I'm assuming you have an iPhone of course.
I'll be getting a WiFi version, the added cost for 3G (plus the ongoing cost) simply isn't worth it (in my opinion).

Seriously. The same functionality in a standalone marine GPS runs well over a grand.
The thing is, I dont need it, as my boat has a crappy 4" screen marine GPS unit already. But, c'mon!

Shit, I was worried About that. So it's not practical to open a bunch of pages in tabs to read later? That's a shame as I do that quite a lot.mattiewheels said:Can't believe how much I love this thing so far...sitting with this thing while watching a blu ray makes me feel like Futureman or something :lol
I do have a problem, though, with the safari pages reloading every time you hop out of the app then back into it, or when you switch pages. I hope they do something about that one.
But I KNOW someone out there bought Sam & Max, please let us know what you think...and Geometry Wars too, we need impressions quick!
Depends how you set up. You could have the homescreen kept clean with only a few apps and a nice wallpaper, then the other screens can be more fullLCfiner said:In keeping with my curmudgeonly stance on the uselessness of wallpapers behind iPhone icons, one of the first things I did was change the home screen wallpaper to one of the simple black textured images. I'm at my in-laws house right now for Easter (yayyy!) and they have us in their basement. The wifi totally doesn't make it down here so out came the iPhone and I'm banging on all cylinders!
