That's the problem with Roger being old: he can't consistently put on a good performance anymore. His play today has been mediocre and nowhere near what he showed on Friday. He can only hope to win another GS by peaking in the final, not before. Conversely, Novak knows when to bring it. The true hallmark of a No. 1.

Still though, after that TB there was a glimmer of hope. Then it was all over after that horrible error at the net.
