A beat cop? Really? I'm going to goahead and assume there's more to it than that. Also assuming that Tate is really
Talia

Same goes for the audience. It's a significantly different situation that works in a different way. Plus, just because Bruce Wayne is unaware, doesn't mean the audience is. If it's kept a secret from the audience, it's still different than Batman Begins. In that one, the real twist was just that Ducard was alive. The name change was a pretty superficial thing. My idea here would be being presented a character very different from the truth.

Henri Ducard is a friend and mentor that helps Bruce through his grieving to channel it into something more productive. He's revealed to be ____ al Ghul.

Miranda Tate is a friend and colleague that helps Bruce through his grieving to channel it into something more productive. She's revealed to be ____ al Ghul.

It's not identical to what happened in BB, but it's still pretty similar.

Personally, I'm inclined to believe that Miranda Tate is just Miranda Tate. Just like Rachel was just Rachel, Mr. Reese was just Mr. Reese, and Anthony Michael Hall was just a reporter and not the Riddler or the dozen other roles he was speculated to be linked to.

Eh. Both Bruce and the audience know that Henri Ducard is a killer with an extreme sense of justice from very early in the film. Finding out that he's actually Ra's didn't change much in terms of perception of his character, just the character's position within the organization. The TDKR speculation would have the character perceived extremely differently from their real persona.

This movie gets weirder and weirder

http://movies.yahoo.com/news/yahoo-...usive-tom-savini-interviews-dark-knight-rises

Horror makeup and special effects legend Tom Savini interviewed this past weekend for "The Dark Knight Rises" aka "Batman 3." This news is bound to have both horror fans and comic book fans salivating for weeks until the official announcement is made as to Savini's participation in the movie. Could the new Batman movie bring the Godfather of Gore out of retirement?

I covered the Motor City Nightmares horror convention and film festival this weekend outside of Detroit. Tom Savini was scheduled to be one of the guests of honor. On Friday, Tom contacted the organizers of the convention to say that he had to cancel as he was going to be interviewing for "The Dark Knight Rises," and that he had a good chance of "Getting it." This had some of the insiders at the convention raising questions as to Savini's potential capacity in the movie.

Savini is considered to be in retirement from makeup and special effects. He has been focusing his time running his special effects and makeup school along with acting and directing. A movie with the potential (if not guaranteed) draw of "The Dark Knight Rises" might bring the master known for "Dawn of the Dead," "Friday the 13th," and "Creepshow" out of retirement. The thought of a return for Savini will have many fans losing sleep.

It could be that there are other aspects of the film that he interviewed for, though. As he is in his 60s, I would doubt that he would be entering an interview for stunt work. Since he did not say that he was "reading" for Batman, my guess is that he would not be going for an acting part. Since the director has already been sealed, I would not expect Savini to be used in that capacity. Since he stated on the phone that he might "Get it" I would be under the assumption that he would be leading the makeup and special effects, not his company.

Due to his body of work, Savini is considered as a legend in the horror movie industry. His past as a photographer in Vietnam gave him exposure to dead bodies that the average makeup and special effect people would not. He brought this experience with him on set and progressed movie magic to a level that it had never been. Due to the fact that he focused on realism in his work, he was given the nickname of the "Godfather of Gore." He knew that death was ugly and sometimes very messy and this showed in his work.

Perhaps Nolan really wants to really bring out the psychological elements from this film and twist it to the viewer so it comes out as a rather horror and dark on whatever nightmares and effects that will endure in the film?

Maybe they have Bane kill Scarecrow. You know that one scene from Knightfall where Scarecrow uses the fear gas on Joker and it has no effect, except with Bane replacing Joker, and then he uses it on Scarecrow. Scarecrow sees a hulking monster when under the influence or something like that.

If Bane is with the league, he has a reason to kill Crane.

The dude who posted that deleted his Twitter account :lol

He's fucked.

Edit: NM, account is still there he just deleted the tweet and then said it wasn't on the Batman set.

Except he works in Bedfordshire, which is where the Cardington sheds are. Which is where all 3 Batman films will have filmed at.

Still fucked!

This scene was amazing the first time I watched it. I was already caught unaware by BB due to not knowing anything about it. This monstrosity appearing was icing on the cake. Damn, I loved this movie. Honestly made me enjoy Batman again after the older movies killed any desire I had of seeing more live feature films.

I need to keep the hype in check. There is a long time until TDKR releases after all.

Always mind your surroundings, cameraman

Don't know why he would get in trouble. Not like he stuck in the set. All he did was take a picture with Hardy. Although Hardy isn't as ripped as I imagined he would be.

Why would he get in trouble for that? I know Nolan is a freaking weirdo (suits all the time, no phones etc. it's like he's trying to be eccentric lol)

but surely a guy can't get in trouble for posting a pic of Hardy not in costume or anything. Oh we saw his shaved head....big deal. He looks Bronson built.

HOLY SHIT

Tom Savini is working on this ?

fapfapfapfapfapfpapfapfpapfapfpapfpap

probably gonna work on Bane or something

The Dark Knight Rises will start principal photography in India! Specifically in Jodhpur.

Behold:

My guess:
this is the prison Bane breaks out of, where he's visited by the young Ra's al Ghul.

Oh man, I hope somebody checked Nolan's bag for explosives before he touched down. No doubt he's fiending to blow that place up good.

Nolan: "What's the most awesome looking place on earth?"

Execs: "Some castle, somewhere, on a hill"

Nolan: "Good, I'm going to blow it up. Fuck the world niggas!"

Nolan: "Next time, I blow up mars, bitches. Mars."

Christopher Nolan is not Michael Bay, yo
But he likes Michael Bay films, man. That has to count for something, right?!

So DKR begins shooting in India next week (May 6th) for a two day shoot. But strangely, Bale will be the only actor there.

Guess that kind of nixes the idea of that fort being related to Bane or Ra's.

Sounds like Bruce Wayne's new alibi is a business trip in India.
