and then Ben attacks Batman with his gang of juggalos. It'll be like the scene in Batman Forever where Robin takes out the gang of neon clowns.

Anybody else think this ain't a movie anymore and Nolan just wants to fuck up Pittsburgh real bad by giving all those guys guns?
 
I'd say those new pics are highly spoilerish for people who want to know nothing about Bane and his shenanigans. But for Batnuts, it's not that surprising.

I'm guessing there's going to be a lot of crazy shit going on. I should have known about the former but for some reason it caught me by surprise.

Anyway, I should have clarified. I meant "goddamn" because of the "holy shit" factor, not because of the spoiler itself.

[edit] lol at the new images. In the first one it looks like
Bale's
laughing and with the water sprinkling in the foreground it kind of looks like a love scene with
both characters
fooling around. The last image kind of confirms this. They're about to kiss.

I Hope so, but this scene is hard to make bigger, it's too chaotic.
Also, batman is kind of stronger here :D

I think he has a point. Both Scarecrow and Joker look like they fit in with the universe that surrounded them. Bane looks like he stepped off of the G.I. Joe movie set.

Disagree. First thing I thought when I saw the pics is that he had a very realistic look. Pretty much what I expected from Nolan. And I dig the badass coat. His design is giving me a Batman Begins vibe for some reason.

The coat makes Bane look russian and he takes it off during the fighting, which after he looks like a plastic combatant with crazy goatse mask.

And I think it's the winter that makes for BB vibe.

what makes bane so unfitting of the "universe" to you? his mask? it's a fair compromise from the sillier mask of the comics imo. people would be complaining that he looks like spawn or something

and you need something to ditinguish him as bane besides him being bulky.

i dont really see why its more unfitting than wearing makeup or a burlap sack.. its a movie about a guy dressed up as a bat yet people are so rigid about compromise

it's mostly the front that I don't like. They should've put less tenticles (four, each on sides) and make it bit sharper.

His bloody guerilla suit. I never pictured bane militaristic in that way. He doesn't need all that extra weight.
 
Even the Batsuit doesn't look as great in those shitty camera phone outtakes. It'll be fine once it's on the big screen, they add in some slight CG and improve the lighting, etc.

i dont see how that makes it less fitting for nolan's universe.. if anything the outfit is more fitting to me than a wrestler would be.

It doesn't have to be a wrestler outfit, but putting armor on bane just seems silly.Heck if that mask can fit Nolanverse, then anything will.

These spoilers aren't even that major.

You're in a thread where we are all thirsting for any new info on the movie.

I'm surprised we got this much and I'm not complaining.
