If it has the sticker, you can be angry with the rest of the guys here in this thread there's no beta. So for all copies have the sticker.

As long as the Crackdown box has a "Halo 3 Beta included" sticker, then yeah you would be all set for the beta.
 
Man. I was hoping it wouldn't take this long. We'll probably be waiting till tonight.

Heres your new game plan Bungie. Release the beta on the market place free for everyone. Solve the Crackdown problem and when you get the fix out disable the demo for the people who did not use the rule of 3.

Eveythings ****ed already so I don't think the paying customers will mind if non-paying get to play for free for a day, so long as they can start playing right now.

I really like my idea of releasing it onto Marketplace for 400pts for the impatient and then sort out the Crackdown problem tomorrow.

My day today should have been awesome... yet all of my friends and I are sitting here waiting for the beta which we thought we were going to be playing 2 hours ago. You have been playing it for ****ed 5 days now... and basically for free.
 
Now I know why the launch date was announced yesterday. Divert as much attention away from the beta not working as possible. Couple that with a free game and their knowledge of this happening is obvious.
 
Analogy: Your work has a free vacation to all the employees but because you were late to work on that day you had to pay for it, sucks but you do it anyway...

then, when the day comes and you get off work your boss tells you that he forgot to buy your plane tickets so it'll be a couple days until you can join them and then to make matters worse, your co-workers are taking time out of their vacation to mock you and your sad situation.

I haven't read the last 50 pages so this has probably been suggested. But why not just put up the beta as a download like any other demo on Marketplace. Admit you screwed up and try to salvage things.

My sympathies to those who took today and/or tomorrow off of work or school.

seriously, its so simple, just put it up on marketplace, bungie ****ed up, admit and move on. I think most people would be happy with that.
 
I love it how people who payed nothing for the Beta and have been playing since Friday still complain about people who payed 60 dollars and still cant play the Beta.

Royal $%#% up by Microsoft. Nothing more you can say. Great way to thank your paying customers..!

To say whining and whatnot is immature is a bit ridiculous, too. Some of us have been waiting all day long to come home and fire up our consoles, ready to finally play something that's been on our minds for the last few months. When I ran off the bus, hopped into my bedroom and loaded up Crackdown to see the "Download Halo 3 Beta" box still grayed out, it was like having an energy sword plunged into my chest by an Elite that didn't even possess the decency to take it out when it was all said and done.

I've never said you guys don't have the right to complain, I'd be complaining if I were you, I'm just saying to stop acting like you're the most unfortunate people in the world. I'm wondering if it'd even be possible to extend the beta an extra day? It might be hardcoded into the game or something.
