For those of us who missed the past 1k posts... any word from ms or bungie since the "We are away of the problem crap"?

If true, this would mean the beta won’t be available for play through Crackdown until 5 a.m. EST on Thursday, May 17, at the earliest. We will update as we find more information on the matter.

What boggles the mind is how this could not have been thoroughly tested... I mean this is Microsoft - they have test labs out the wazoo...

This sucks, I just took a nap for a few hours and it's still not up. Even worse it's raining like crazy now and thundering so my power has a good chance of going out :(

I am confused. I recieved a beta invite back in January, but have not recieved any emails recently... should have I recieved something from Bungie?

Haven't seen a source so I assume it's the same rumor as hours ago when people were listening to Xbox Live support techs who just want you to hang up.
 
I'm predicting that crackdown will need to be updated. That will mean the update will need to go through certification. 2-3 days is my prediction.
 
Wow. About 1500 posts since I got a beta code in my GAF PM box until now.

If it weren't for the kindness of someone on this board I'd be with you all. Hope this gets resolved soon.

Common Sense would tell me that, as soon as the problem is resolved, they would tell us and the download would then work...Not "It's going to work at 5 o clock..." while everyone at MS scrambles trying to get it working by then...

This really sucks, I was looking forward to playing with my crew today...however, some of you are acting really immature on the subject, I understand the dissapointment, but geez :P

If I was to go out and buy crackdown today, could I get into the beta still? (assuming they sort this shit out) or is it too late? All this anger has interested me. Must be some hot shit.
