Of course. Not /every/ single user on Xbox Live is trying to download the demo.

Only the ones that are trying to are. It's only some!

I wonder if somebody is going to get fired. No matter how pissed I am, I wouldnt want anything that extreme happen to someone because of one damn mistake.

I would say it would be more like her parents wouldn't let her go out with you (who already had the date paid for), but instead let her date the neighbor's son who just happened to be walking by.

If I could photoshop I would put the gaf logo on the guy's face, and a master chief helmet on the little girl. Just as she's about to get kicked, pause the video and fade in "this is Neogaf Dude." Then resume the kick.
 
WoW we better be properly compensated for this, at least an extra week of Halo 3 beta for people who bought Crackdown NOT people who got in earlier through F&F BS etc.

I would say that the GAF logo should be on the kid's face, and the Bungie logo on the breakdancer.

Truthfully, that's so much better than what I wrote that it actually makes everything sound worse. Under any other circumstances that wouldn't make sense, but in this case it most definitely does.

Hate to say it, but it's looking very likely that it's a problem with Crackdown. Hope not, I want to play this tonight.
 
I don't especially want Bungie or RTW or MS to get any extra grief, but this is pretty funny now.

I almost hope there's some serious problem with Crackdown downloading the beta. I hated the idea of having to put in the disk and waiting for it to load up each time I wanted to play the beta anyways.
 
I've been playing the beta now and I am kind of annoyed with how it handles communication. You have to hear this annoying beep when you want to voice chat, and you can't talk to enemy players (I think).

The game is fun though, I never played Halo 2 Multiplayer so this is all new to me.

I really miss the simplicity and organized setup of Gears of War though, Halo 3 really feels like a big mosh pit compared to it.
