Crossing the $500,000 mark!
Linux users could pay 1 cent, and still get it. So no.ChoklitReign said:It's because Linux users are desperate for any games at all.
Huh? I know that Vvvvvv at least doesn't support gamepad on PC, not even the new version. I had to setup Xpadder for it, which is an app that translates controller input to keyboard or mouse.Joseph Merrick said:all of them on pc at least. because. pc. controllers. pc. PC.
But that wouldn't get them more games in the future, while making sure interest is known will.iKeepPlaying said:Linux users could pay 1 cent, and still get it. So no.
That was notch, developer of Minecraft, who seems to have later upped his donation to around 4000ChoklitReign said:I'm sure they have a lot of spare money from the free software they use. It explains the $2000 someone paid.
Last time they eventually gave away the old bundle to anyone who had already bought the new bundle. Maybe that will happen again.OniShiro said:I missed the first two bundles which had more interesing games, I wish they rereleased the old bundles for a limited time, like just a couple days.
I'll wait for the forth bundle and hope the games are more appealing.
Good point.Dreamwriter said:But that wouldn't get them more games in the future, while making sure interest is known will.

I marked myself as Windows and not Linux as I usually do (despite using both equally) because I gave a small amount. Have to keep that average up!itxaka said:Or more like as linux users don't have to pay for other software, they have more money to spend on paid one.
TL;DR: Linux users are rich biaaatch ;-P
Have you seen steam sale threads?Mr_Zombie said:Looking at stats, it's kind of sad that Windows users are so cheapskates :/
Average Windows: $3.83
Average Mac: $6.10

I think he had 2000, got beat, and put it to 4000.ScottishFyre said:Came here to post how awesome I think it is that notch paid 4000, but was beaten. SO, I will just post my average price of 15.
Yup.KingDizzi said:Can you get this if you're in the UK? Want to give $1.
morningbus said:That's honestly been one of the best side effects from the Humble Indie Bundle; it shows indie developers that Linux users are willing to pay for games and that they can be a group on par with Mac users in terms of demand.
It just did.ChoklitReign said:Is the Steam VVVVVV getting the update with C++ and new save system?
No, that third one was "just" a Frozenbyte special operation, having only one dev/pub. Which is why it didn't count.vodka-bull said:I'm just wondering, shouldn't that be the Humble Indie Bundle #4?
The first bundle contained World of Goo, the second one contained Braid and Machinarium, the third one was Trine and Shadowgrounds or am I mistaken?
oatmeal said:So does the Crayon game not work on Mac?
It doesn't have the Install button in my Steam.
Ah I think I said that wrong. Ment to say that I was beaten in saying that notch paid 4000.Billychu said:I think he had 2000, got beat, and put it to 4000.

Anyone knows how this works? Are we getting an email?Silex said:"Hey guys, all Humble Indie Bundle #3 customers get to play Minecraft for free until August 14th!"
From their twitter. Nice deal for notch probably.
On your download page, you get a special code that you take to minecraft.net/humble/ and you're good to go!
Exactly.oatmeal said:Interesting...so I need to download it separately?

You'll have two entries. You could always set Steam to only show Mac games on your games list though.Chuckpebble said:I downloaded all of the titles and then used the steam activation code on Mac.
So as noted earlier, two of the games show up in my steam library, but say "unavailable". My question is, is there a way to make those entries in my steam library open the games I downloaded, or am I stuck with two entries for each in my game library? Basically, I'd have the NA entries, and then the two links from adding the separately downloaded games.
Not sure I'm using the proper terminology here, hope someone understands me.
Also, anyone having issues with Crayon Physics and Cogs on Windows. The prior comes up as a white screen and the latter is a painfully slow and unresponsive slide show, but only on my work machine.
How does that work? Honestly, I've browsed the Mac Steam interface and never found that.Asparagus said:You could always set Steam to only show Mac games on your games list though.
