That's probably one of the easiest ones imo, just don't push down, instead lightly tap and go really slow. Then you should easily be able to take every second slope with a great slide.Forkball said:Ok how the hell am I supposed to get 10 perfect slides on the first island in Tiny Wings? Yeah same here. Be a perfect fit, but all there seems to be are time management advergames.Aaron said:Yeah, it's pretty strange the lack of tycoon games in ios. They'd be a good fit.
Minotaur didn't have weird controls!Jedeye Sniv said:Quick initial impressions of Minotron: 2112 after 30 mins. Overall I'm enjoying it a lot. The controls are weird again but I think they'll work wehn I get the hang of them properly. I am enjoying how Minter is coming up with some non-standard controls for his games, both of them are interesting experiments in touch controls that set them apart from the other iOS games similar to them.
The game is joyfully bizarre, with crazy unique enemies on each stage that I've played so far (only up to 15 out of 100). Utterly mental sound effects too, getting some strange looks from the missus.
The game is hard though, real fucking hard! Still, I'm sticking with it for a while anyway. Need a break from all the Tiny Wings I've played lately too![]()

I would not consider them being a sales whore at all. This is their first sale since the game came out and it's probably to celebrate the new content. This game is worth so much more than the original asking price anyways. With this quality of game, these guys deserve to be supportedjonnybryce said:Yeah INfinity Blade update today! Double yeahhhhh for dodge button size slider because that shit might as well have been random, impossible to hit little things.
Boo to the sale. I didn't know they were sale whores like Gameloft or EA, I guess I should have waited. Developers take a step towards convincing app store customers to accept high prices and then 1,000,000 steps back with these sales. How can I value your game at 7 bucks when its 2+new content for people that haven't been supporting you?
Sigh. I know it's old news, but sigh.

I've got a 64GB 3G iPad and I want to upgrade to iPad 2, is there something I can do or I'm on my own/eBay?
How much should I aim to make with it?
It's coming to EU/Italy in March 25 (same day as the 3DS!), so at least I've got a bit more room to find a good deal than what NA owners have.

It's glorious! But it's pretty much straight-up Llamatron 2112 with some modern flair so that's to be expected.Wario64 said:Anyone play Minotron 2112? It sucks that Minter's games don't run on older iPods.

Oh, ok, lol at Apple Premium... The capitalization fooled me.MSIMagus said:"Apple Premium" is reffering to the fact that Apple products tend to hold their value a bit better then other products. Apple charges a very high up front price, but new tech in general has not decimated the price of old product. I am thinking the IPad is going to be a bit different though since if you look at Amazon or other resell sites you can see quite a few going for $150-$200 below new price. Ebay and Amazon both take a huge cut too.
My recommendation is to check out gametz.com which is a site where you can buy, sell and trade to other gamers. I have been using it for years and never had a problem and they do not take a cut of your sales. Basically lets say you sell something on ebay for $500 then at gametz you would probally charge something like $450 for it, the buyer gets a better deal then ebay price and you still come out ahead since you are not slammed with ebay and paypal fees.
Dash Kappei said:Oh, ok, lol at Apple Premium... The capitalization fooled me.
Thanks for clearing that out and I'll check gametz out, although I fear it's a NA only thing?
Either way, cool to know
I think my best bet is to have an auction up by tomorrow/the day after that, but I still have no idea on how to price my 64Gb 3G, I mean the machine has less than three freaking' months and still 2 years of warranty left.
MSIMagus said:How many of you are upgrading to the Ipad 2? I currently do not own an Ipad and I am kind of on the fence about what I am going to do. I mean the Ipad 2 with its faster processor and GPU was what I was def planning on, but seeing the market for the Ipad 1 drop out it is getting more and more tempting to pick up an Ipad 1. I mean as it is a new Ipad 2 64 GB will run me $700 without taxes or any extras, meanwhile I have seen the Ipad 1 64 GB often with extras for around $400. It is getting to the point where I am wondering if the $300 is really worth it for the Ipad 2 over 1.
Anyone think the Ipad 2 will receive many games that run on it but never the Ipad 1?

MrMephistoX said:It's the term for selling apple products when a decent update comes along. Unlike most other brands people pay like 75% or more of the brand new value for used apple products which pretty much finances my bad habit of buying them when upgrades roll out.
