I haven't played it so I'm not sure. There's probably a few people on here that have though. I'm sure they can chime in.

Ah, cool. I know what to expect with it, I just wonder if it works really well with a iOS interface.Gamecocks625 said:I haven't played it so I'm not sure. There's probably a few people on here that have though. I'm sure they can chime in.
If you have a weapon with a high magic level you can have it transform into a spell.Baloonatic said:How do you get magic? I noticed that there's an in-app purchase option for some but I'm not doing that.
I managed to beat the Garuda Slime earlier today and then, nothing happened... I could walk around on the 10th floor but I never got any drop and the game refused to end. Now I have to beat it all over again.Dacvak said:And you should feel bad. I've been stuck on that stupid endboss in Ancient Species forever. No idea what to do at all.
I'm using a bronze blade +39A, +1M. I don't really have anything for magic. The only high magic item I got I "used" to get the fire spell. Haven't seen another high one since.
Also, do you know what any of the DLC does?

No clue about the DLC.
So it bugs like that for everyone? I thought the Garuda Slime was supposed to drop a powerful weapon...Baloonatic said:I beat him earlier as well. You just have to select Quit from the inventory menu. The next world should be selectable after that.
I found a Dragonblade earlier which has +53A and +3M. I'm on the fourth world now. I kind of wish they'd put more stuff in the game as I like the Infinity Blade style concept but simplified.

I just found out you can change your class (and hence AT/MG stats) by changing the colours of your character under options.
If you equip an item with a high magic level (30+) you get a third button to turn it into a spell.Baloonatic said:I'm sure none of this stuff is mentioned in the how to play section.
Do items just randomly change into spells then? I'm not seeing an option for it.
I think an exit button in the time trial and normal mode would be a good addition.nelkon and parker said:

Can't update my OS any higher, 4.3 doesn't work on older hardware.nelkon and parker said:Yea, our next app update should allow 4.0+, hopefully the app update comes out before the free download time expires. I'll let you guys know if the update comes out before then.
Or, just update your OS dude!
Newer hardware either. Verizon iPhone is stuck at 4.2.8.cooljeanius said:Can't update my OS any higher, 4.3 doesn't work on older hardware.
The game is pretty much massively incomplete:Baloonatic said:I'm sure none of this stuff is mentioned in the how to play section.

Very nice, I guess the menus are a great fit for the small touchscreen. I got the First Touch Soccer game since it was cheap, but since I'm more of a baseball guy I'll definitely try this.dantehemi said:i have it, and i play the hell out of it. i find it to work really well, i have no complaints. it does what is required of it (being a hardcore sim) tons of micro managing (but you can allow the computer A.I to fill in rosters if you choose). you can play the game which ever way suits you (i build my team and sim weekly) as opposed to siming every game individually and choosing actions during the game.
sorry if my review skills leaves something to be desired, but all in all i would say that if you are a baseball fan and enjoy simulation style games and building teams, then this game wont let you down.
edit- short answer yes it woks with ios interface very well.
I recall the answer given to that question was that it's up to Ubisoft.Captain N said:Any chance we'll get Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes on the iPad still?
Yep!punkypine said:if you get a gamecenter achievement while you're offline, does it sync up later?

It's awesome how the review changes when you press "begin bloodline 2."FiRez said:You guys should read this IB review, is the best videogame review I've seen so far from a literary and creative perspective:

My only issue is I cannot put a player on the block, and the minor league system is a little bland for a game as deep as this..
Just downloaded it. Thanks.nelkon and parker said:Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that Switch Frenzy is Free for a limited time.
Its a game me and a fellow gaffer (guise) have created in our spare time, and we would love more people to have a go with it. There are no in-app purchases, or in-app advertisements, this is a totally free copy of the game, which we are planning to continue to add more features to. Those of you who do download it and have a go, follow us on twitter (@breadengine) as we're planning to have a little competition in the future, giving away some stuff to the leaderboard toppers.
Also quick note, proper iPad version is to come out soon after approval from Apple.

But, I guess it would be weird if someone wrote a highly creative review of a highly creative game like #sworcery. It would be redundant and cloying.

It's in an entirely different sport.Reese-015 said:I also was a bit surprised by that, yeah. Though I think the way you put it might be a bit harsh, IB is definitely a unique and refined piece of art when it comes to mobile games or even just games in general. It's not Ico but it's not in an entirely different league from those kinds of games either imo.

Plus there's a code in it that unlocks something in the game.
Stop being so blatant..Gamecocks625 said:First Touch Soccer is almost becoming the PES/FIFA of iOS for me. The control scheme is something that console soccer titles should aim at. It makes the idea of a dedicated "shoot" "pass" "lob" "through ball" button seem so antiquated.
Nicely done chap, very enjoyable. I'll be sure to bung you some pennies for the iPad version.nelkon and parker said:Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that Switch Frenzy is Free for a limited time....

They don't support Steam achievements either.. it seems if it's not mandatory (ie: Xbox and PS3), they can't be bothered.Captain N said:EA really needs to start supporting Game Center. I don't understand why they are waiting so long.

I'm sorting out the Verizon capable edition as I type this. Took about a week last time to get approved by apple, so hopefully next Monday.
Also do we have a list of whose who on game center? Would be really interested on who is posting these great scores. Very impressed.

Items that have a high enough magic stat can be turned into a spell (there's a third button that will show up beside the "discard" button).Flunkie said:Pixel Slime is AMAZING. It's literally a perfect 5 minute game to play at work. I know you guys (well, Dacvak) have beat it, but I'm so confused in the game. How do I get magic? How do I defeat the Dark Slime? Sorry if this was already asked, but I'm at work with shitty signal and not a lot of time.

Any dev care to chime in as to what the reasoning could be from experience?
