Small update on Bug Panic.
It will require iOS4.1 minimum, and iOS4.2 on iPads. Have they inadvertently let slip that this will have native support on iPad? I'm assuming it's a Game Center dependency, as there is probably little else in that release of the iOS that would be critical.

OK, I still have the same problem in "Today I die again", even after the patch.

red background and black blocks at the top which disappear when you touch them, but then come back straight away.

I only have a choice of two words:

fight

. By doing some flaky switching between the two, I seem to be getting somewhere, but then something goes wrong and I can't move the words around anymore...

Any ideas?

okay i'll have to try it. This "game" is pretty cool, it is like an interactive poem.

The big one for me is the buttons becoming unresponsive when you resumed the game. I actually got into the habit of opening the multitasking bar and manually quitting it each time I stopped playing so that it wouldn't be an issue when I went to play again. Voices playing over each other happened quite a lot too.

Buy them. They're not hard to find if you keep checking on the stations. I keep some on my ship at all times just so I can make a jump whenever I need to.

Doesn't VGA-out support higher res?

Iirr component output is only 480p whereas the VGA output is higher at 1024x768.

I remember readin something about component being DRM-locked as well whereas VGA wasn't.

Might see if I can borrow them both and test with Chopper 2.

Word Warrior is free for a little while longer... worth getting if you like word games. Lots of levels, decent polish, variations on gameplay (anything goes, only 3 letter words, etc) and a little grinding to get loot is actually fun in this kinda game.

Lol forever. I was severely addicted to the Frogs but the addiction petered out after a couple of weeks. That new achievement is simply a test of insanity.

You don't need to be jailbroken. You'll need an iPad, iPhone and a TV out cable for the iPad (either composite, component or VGA). Then all you need is a copy of 'The Incident' and to wait for the 1.3 update.

VGA supports 1024x768 whereas the others don't.

I have everything I need for 'The Incident' with the exception of the cable. I'm going to buy one and then worry about finding other uses afterwards.

Well, there's a new Korg iMS-20 app but there's also a native version of Rebirth out now for the iPad, and it's incredible.

Didn't get on very well with Word Warrior. I can't think of words fast enough:lol

Guns N Glory is a cool game. Can be quite difficult though as it's a little fiddly at times selecting units and trying to get the pick ups etc.

Fast app switching, whole new interface, single player play, pass n play, local (wifi/bluetooth?) play, faster respond times.

Exactly the sort of thing you'd think EA just release a separate app for, but finally they did an update.
