64GB not enough? I guess if you have a ton of videos and music that can also add up. I had originally thought about going to a 64GB for the 5th gen, but I might be OK with a 32GB again. I guess it really depends on if the games start to increase in file size with the larger horsepower of these devices.

I like to have a ton of music with me at all times, and my tastes are quite varied. That and video, games, etc... I filled up my old 30 GB photo really quick, and for the longest time I was just going to upgrade to a classic, but with iOS gaming and all of that stuff, I really want to jump into a touch.

Use Amazon cloud or something? I guess you could wait until after WWDC to see what Apple does with iCloud.

The iPhone version was on sale for 99 cents for a week last month and the iPad version was %50 off less than a week ago.
I got an iPhone 2 weeks ago so missed that sale, I didn't realize the iPad version of mirrors edge was so much

Edit: just checked the app store, NBA Jam on the iPhone is .99!

I'm curious about online multiplayer games in IOS gaming. Are there many for the Ipad or Iphone? It seems like most games I stumble upon are only pass and play and that's IF multiplayer is even included at all.

I'm looking for a turn based war game (or RTS) or board games ... online multiplayer is a must have.

Thanks Astro but I already have carcassonne for XBLA ... honestly I wasn't a big fan of the game (it's great but just not my thing ... preferred Catan alot more).

My wife forced me to play Carcassone with her for months day after day after day ... ugh
it's not even comparable to the xbla version 1,000,000x better both in form and function but it's hard to explain until you get in a few dozen gaf games like the rest of us

After reading the multiplayer thread I got hyped up. Will buy. It's basically the same game though as what's on Live right? But looks nicer?

Sounds like you answered your own damn question.

I do like the look and feel of it a lot better -- it's just very well suited to the touch interface. It also has a neat little solitaire mode that's basically a new game, as well as some good stat-tracking and such. The biggest factor by far though is the fact that the online games are asynchronous -- you get a notification when it's your turn and you just take it whenever you have a sec. This is why you can play 10, 20, 30 games at the same time with a bunch of different people if you like. There's also a 2P quickplay mode vs randoms that tends to have some pretty vicious competition if you're into that.

Verizon just for the unlimited data.
I'm paying $72 avg. With the most cheapest minutes and txt plans. But with 15% discount

tell me more- pretty good on ipad? not an mmo?
It's by far my favorite iOS game. Deep, beautiful, and best of all, it can be played in short spurts or for hours at a time. It's hard to get tired of the game.

Here's a good review - you can see the reviewer playing it to get a sense of how it controls and such. You can also see how impressive and smooth the open environments are.

Damn I just noticed they also just released Ticket to Ride last week. I LOVE that game. Might have to get both.
Do you love it enough to play alone? Because there's no pass and play, and no 'take turns' multiplayer. You need a constant connection, and if the other player disconnects, they're replaced by pretty poor AI.

I only play online so that's not an issue for me. I'd rather have online play only than pass and play only.

Any other good puzzle games for iPad? Picked up the heist for iPhone to play on my iPad. Need more like this

The little bug game is kinda cool too. Ynth or something. Oh and cover orange

To the person asking about TD games, my latest obsession is GemCraft. It's pretty deep for a TD game, you basically create these gems with different attributes and put them in towers/traps. You can combine gems and get different bonuses, and you level up your 'skills' which brings a quasi-RPG element to the game.
