Gave my 3g away to a friend, I erase all content and setting before I gave it to him, but i forgot to clear Safari. Did the erase clear safari on its own?

Yeah they're almost certainly going to announce a new I-phone this fall. So if possible I would just wait, unless you REALLY want a new phone, in which case I'd say the I-phone 4 itself is a pretty awesome piece of hardware (and will be compatible with I-os 5).JetBlackPanda said:me and the wife both want to get out of Tmobile and get some I-phones, at this point should we just wait until the end of the year and hope for the Iphone 5?
I hope so. I think I want to go back to iOS again with the revamped notifications. I'd miss my Swype, though, Google Voice integration, and push Gchat. I'd actually miss a lot but I wouldn't miss the clunkiness and lack of polish.giga said:1-0 bucks that the I-phone 4-S or 5 will launch with I-os 5 this fall on T-mobile. Anyway.... I can't believe how awesome 4 is I mean I started to notice the differences since I hold that beautiful thing in my hand, dear god this is like the most perfect phone ever![]()
any suggestion how can I use 4 to notice even more differences than 3Gs ?
Turns on the visualizer in iTunes.crispyben said:Does anyone know what the "hypno TV screen" icon means on my Remote app screen? It's to the right of the Genius icon. When I click it it resets the song currently playing, but I'm curious. Thanks.

Brutal...pretty crappy way to scratch your phone.Vyer said:got damn it
I always keep my iPhone in the pocket without keys/change to protect the screen. Today at Frys I got a handout at the door about their price guarantee and stuffed it in my pocket. Fee hours later I notice a small scratch/gash in the lower left of the screen and some smaller lighter scratches elsewhere. I was like WTF pulled out my receipts...and found the price match slip had another smaller piece of paper with an ad on it that was attached - - with a metal staple.
Fuck you Frys!

Don't recall that happening to me when I was using that app, but there were other issues that made me decide it's absolute shit. I suggest moving over to Meebo for your IM needs (it's free and fabulous).VOOK said:Hey guys, my MSN messenger app (the official one) keeps spamming me notifications for one message from the past over and over.
If i I turn off notifications it goes away, but the minute I turn it back on it comes back. I've deleted the app multiple times and nothing.
Every hear of this happening?
Can't they change the hosting service? The official iOS twitter app let's you choose among many.Charred Greyface said:Bingo. Noticed it from my blackberry toting friends.

Right click on it in your music library, click "Get Info," under the Options tab, choose "Podcast" as media type instead of "Music."whatsinaname said:So I downloaded a podcast outside of iTunes today because the iTunes link hadn't updated. I had to put it in my music folder and play it as a song. How do I add it as a podcast?
I have always wondered if this was possible. Thanks man.sykoex said:Right click on it in your music library, click "Get Info," under the Options tab, choose "Podcast" as media type instead of "Music."
Well until the next iPhone anyway. I won't upgrade from iPhone 4 until an LTE version is released and my cell phone provider supports the technology (which is supposedly this year for Rogers in Canada)Paradoxal_Utopia said:Will the iPhone 4 be the most successful phone in history when its all said and done? Caseless is Yummy but if you don't have even those tiny hairline scratches on the back or front then your hands and pockets must be made of felt. When I sold mine after 8 months I had those but you had to hold at an angle under light to see.SmokyDave said:Is it tasteless of me to point out that I've been caseless since launch and my i4 is absolutely flawless?
Yeah, it probably is.

Dunno. I do wear fairly expensive jeans / trousers but my hands are the hands of a rugged, sexy chap. I do treat the phone like it was my 90 year old grandmother though.Husker86 said:Caseless is Yummy but if you don't have even those tiny hairline scratches on the back or front then your hands and pockets must be made of felt. "While Apple lacks RIM's NOC/node infrastructure that allows for BBMing without a data plan with some carriers, iMessage otherwise is a direct competitor. The launch of a low-cost iPhone in the Fall targeted at prepaid and emerging markets will only further undermine RIM," said Misek.

I seriously wonder if the iPod touch line is done and this prepaid iPhone will replace it. You don't NEED a contract with a prepaid phone do you? People could have the choice I guess...you have this iOS device to use just like an iPod touch...but if you also want to use it as a phone you can buy minutes for it.
Not tasteless at all! Every since going caseless with my iPod touch I will never go back. Feels good man.
CrankyJay said:Could be awesome, but wouldn't the cost of the phone radios cost more than a standard iPod?
Gamecocks625 said:I have no clue. Who knows what their engineers can come up with. People have asked for 3G capabilities for the iPod touch...this pretty much satisfies that as an option. It also expands the market greatly in terms of the lower end phone sector.
With the lack of reference of the iPod touch in the iOS5 beta (even the iPad 3 was referenced and that's not out until next year) and these sort of rumblings...I wonder if that's where Apple is headed.
Naw, I understand that. I mean I had nothing on the screen protecting it (though I kinda wish now I had). I've had this phone almost a year and it was pretty flawless till now. I also tried to be very careful with it, but I use my phone a lot day to day through work and sometimes things happen. I was doing pretty well with it though......SmokyDave said:Dunno. Just buffed it up and held it under the fluorescent lights and it looks impeccable *shrug*.
RAZR sold something nuts like over 100 million, so no. No smart phone will come close to old clamshells/candybars for a while.Paradoxal_Utopia said:Will the iPhone 4 be the most successful phone in history when its all said and done? Certainly seems so.

Why would you nw upgrade to an iPhone4 when the next one is just a couple months away?notworksafe said:Finally upgrading from my 3G (not S) to a 4. Should be here Tuesday. Can't wait for a phone that can actually run iOS4 properly...and 5 soon!
Yeah, my phone requirements are pretty light. I just need it to work well and not be laggy or anything like that, which started to be my problem with the 3G. It definitely can't handle iOS 4 anymore.Vyer said:Well, if you stuck it out this long with a 3G, I'd imagine you'll be pretty happy with a 4.
I loved my RAZR. It was so sleek and held up a hellva lot better than most iPhone 4's. Before that I had a STAR TAC. That was an awesome phone as well. The iPhone 4 might not be as durable. But it's gorgeous and capable of so many things. I'm happy to have one. ^.^Talon- said:RAZR sold something nuts like over 100 million, so no.
