Hopefully the iPhone 5 brings with it a battery that doesn't take forever to get back to usage mode after being dead and charging. Literally take 30-60min to get back up and running...

Ugh, just noticed that my phone's screen was making a clicking sound every time I pressed down on the right side of the screen. Popped it out of the case and realized that the screen was becoming delaminated. I don't suppose a call to ATT about a defect is going to help now, seeing how I bought the phone at launch right?

Wife needs this info. She doesn't care about jailbroken stuff, she just wants to put in another SIM and be able to update to 5 with no hassles when the time comes.

As for what sim she would need if she had an unlocked phone, that would be any micro-sim or a regular mini sim cut down to size.
Also, in regards to upgrading to iOS 5, one thing i've learned is that unlocking your iPhone and upgrading it's OS is always full of hassles. I do it because I don't want to buy a second phone for when I travel and I spend months out of the year in other countries but for the average person it's probably too much of a pain.
If you have the money to blow you could just buy an unlocked iPhone 4 from Apple. Something I will seriously consider if they offer that option on the 5.

Hey guys, need some tips. Friend of mine has an iPhone that she hasn't bothered syncing with her laptop for a long time. So long that now the laptop is dead. She's got a new laptop now, is there any way for her to sync the phone to the new computer without losing the contents of her phone?

Thought as much. So annoying. There should be a "I've got a new PC!" option other than completely resetting your iPhone.
So I'm thinking about heading down to the apple store tomorrow and picking up a white 32gb iPhone 4 (I'm already in a contract and my phone broke). Do you think I should wait for the iPhone 5? I'm just worried it'll be an iPhone 3GS situation, where the iPhone 4 doesn't run smoothly next year when the iPhone 5 is out.

Twitterriffic got updated with a killer feature for me. I figure Id bring it up in here since I use twitter most on my phone.
it now supports the tweet marker function to keep your timeline position synced across all devices. so I can be scrolling on the iPhone, put it down and get to the ipad a little while later and continue where I was exactly. and then move on from there to twitterrific on the Mac and get the same marker as was on the ipad and keep reading. no more unnecessary scrolling to see where I last left off.
