For me, the Well, What is it? is hilarious so even when it's used as a taunt, I find it too fun to not laugh so I never get angry even when I lose in the worst possible way and they start spamming it.

Yeah I agree I actually love "?" too. You just know something really bad went down if you weren't there
 
I'm not the sensitive type, so nothing affects. I do teabag to tilt opponents though. People get blood thirsty and start making mistakes.
 
In Street Fighter 3 they give you the option to turn post-round movement off online just to stop people taunting after the rounds. It's especially annoying when people taunt after bodying you, since it's adding insult to injury. Only taunt if your opponent deserves it, and conversely don't taunt unless you're going to win. If you taunt in the first round you'll look like a dumbass if they end up winning the match.
 
In Dota (or any other MOBA), if the enemy tries to gank you and you escape by the skin of your teeth...

Or better yet, turn the situation around and kill them instead.

A single, simple '?' in all-chat will, without fail, piss them off immensely.
 
It's not a taunt but when the death screen in BF1 zooms in on a sniper prone half hidden behind a bush about 3 miles away my blood starts boiling. When someone teabags me I just find it funny but the prone sniper thing bothers me way more than it should.

Just idiots flicking their camera sticks around like a squirrel seizing up.
Like-its 2016, gears taunting never took off people and the majority of the time I end up laughing at them because their blown to pieces 2 seconds into the killcam
 
Fucking Jago's taunt in KI nothing gets me like that that smug bastard. That and when people waste my time with ultras off of a cheap win.
 
Any smash taunt performed twice in a row

Specially after they effing spammed projectiles the whole match (looking at you Samus, Robin, Ness, Lucas and Duck Hunt)

The welcome one is worse when it comes from that one guy from a group who stood back like a pussy and let the others kill you.

Also the ones from Mario Golf on Gamecube when you're playing with 4 people. Especially Donkey Kongs. Screen spamming bullshit
 
For some reason i hate 'ez'. Annoys me when it clearly was not an easy game at all, and usually will be said by the person at the bottom of the opposite teams leaderboards
 
Many of the taunts in Destiny. The large majority of the playerbase is using whatever BS flavor of the month is currently in style(max range shotguns, hardscoping, Grasp of Malok archetype, exotic hand cannons), and after camping crouched around a corner for cheap ass kills they'll spam shit like "No, no, no" or mourning your death. I got so mad that I fed into it and starting doing "X hits nothing but net" after every sniping headshot. It works tactically because about 2/3 of the way into a match I very often notice a couple players on the other team being so hellbent on killing me that they'll throw the match(even better when I end up with a very positive k/d against their rage).

Yeah, when a game has built in taunts it's just something there, it's easy and predictable.

The made up stuff is the worst and just stupid.

See if I well played after you did something amazing I mean it I'm not being sarcastic. then again I'm one of those people who will friend people they lose to and ask about their deck, how long they were holding a combo etc. I'm happy to give 80g quests to people i've just lost to if their friendly.

The emote system in hearthstone is frustrating because it's so hard to accurately get your point across when everything can be a taunt or sarcasm. I miss being able to talk to my opponent like in sc2.
 
I like saying "gg ez" on matches that I absolutely sucked. It's specially funny because you make your team and the opponents angry.

I don't get angry with people tauting me, actually. When I lose I like to complain more about the game or my own stupidity than about the adversary, but if I have the opportunity to make someone angry, I'll do it.
 
Dark Souls 3 point down emote has caused people so much salt it's ridiculous. It's almost surpassed the "well, what is it" come at me bro pose in how angry it makes people.
 
I don't mind in-game taunts. They can actually be quite fun at times.

What does get me is emote spamming and poor winners in digital card games like Hearthstone / Shadowverse.

When you have lethal on the board or in your hand, there's really no point in spamming emotes at my face as if I'm some dumb idiot. I know you have lethal. When I pass the turn to you so you can kill me, I expect you to just kill me. I give you that final hit instead of just conceding, don't then be disrespectful and take up my time by playing tons of unnecessary shit and emoting constantly.
 
also, teabagging has been around since you could crouch in multiplayer games but it still gets people mad as shit.

Believe it or not, but shooters existed before CoD and Halo on consoles.
