So the only benefit to the other editions is mostly multiplayer stuff, I'll pass and go regular then.

You and Wario are the kings. Thanks for this! Hopefully they have the same issue with the CE in case they ever decide to add the darn game there.Mass Effect: Andromeda Deluxe Edition Prime Savings Price Mistake - 47.99 Instead Of 55.99
Praise be unto Wario for the tweet.
The problem is in they are showing stuff, but nothing they are showing is exciting. I'm not saying they need a huge marketing push, just don't show the thing at all.
We have E3's where it's basically them showing concept art, the PS Pro trailer which has to be one of the most boring clips to show imaginable, and some CG trailers.
It's just really really bad marketing and as someone else put it basically giving your fanbase constant blue balls with no payoff. It would have been much better for them to just hold off entirely on showing anything if they were going to wait for a last second real reveal.
Collector's Edition is here with a RC Nomad.
Damn... I wanted a model of the ship!
The trailer is great but this really disappoints me

Edit: It's 2 editions. One with a RC car, the other with a normal model.
$199 or $99.
Game NOT included. Just an empty steelbook.
The collector's edition of the game...doesn't come with the game?
lolol
This is always the most hilarious shit to me.
Like, who comes up with this collector's edition, and then says....nah, we'll piecemeal you for the actual game.
Like....wut.

How did this ever become a thing? When? WHY!?
Why is it that every time a trailer or anything about this game comes out, everyone turns into a bunch of Chicken Littles?
wow those MP booster packs makes me wonder how much of a cash cow MP will be
It would still be nice....if they gave us the Option to buy the game with the CE contents like BF1 did....instead of buying things separately which sometimes ends up costing more if the companies see it that way.Options are good.
Ok so all the major species had a hand in the Andromeda Initiative right, it wasn't just humans they sent to find a new home in a different galaxy? Why then is the marketing stating that we are to lead humanity when it's a mix of different species on that vessel?
The first time I remember it recently was with Wolfenstein. I'm sure it happened before then though.
EA did this already (Dead Space 3, Battlefield 1).

2 reasons: each major species has its own Ark, and so the one you start on is going to be majority Human, and secondly, the people buying this game will be majority human, so it makes sense to cater to them.
Figure I'd post it here too.
This was the same year Shepard was resurrected in for Mass Effect 2.

Agreed.
More insulting, however, is that I still think ME1 set a gold standard for amazing Collector's Editions.
THAT was amazing and worth every single penny I paid.

Did not know that?
EA basically isnt doing a true collector edition in the sense that ME1/2/3 had. They basically have a third party partner providing the "collector edition" thats just creating 3 physical products (the 2 versions of the mako and the steelbook)
There is clearly a very big focus by EA on MP given that its all MP focussed stuff you get in the deluxe edition
Not sure how I feel about this MP focus - on the one hand I only care about SP and its likely more % of dev time was spent on MP versus ME3, but OTOH its important that the franchise makes a lot of money in order to get a high budget and priority versus other games
It would still be nice....if they gave us the Option to buy the game with the CE contents like BF1 did....instead of buying things separately which sometimes ends up costing more if the companies see it that way.

Mass Effect: Halo 4
My guess, the Andromeda initiative started out as a long term plan in case the Reaper threat came to fruition, and since Luna was hit first: I'm guessing we had to take off in a big hurry once the Reapers arrived to clean house.
The 2185 starting timeline would back this up I reckon.....
So I figure this might be a good place to ask, but I was just wondering. How come they were able to, but they can't fix Joker's legs? What's up with that? We can warp to other places, but this guy can't walk in the future? Seems fucked up.clone shepard

Edit: Scrub that, read the dates wrong: launching in 2185....odd.
Before the Reaper threat was 100%, so why are we fleeing the galaxy already?
The Andromeda Initiative training stuff is up now.
