The hard drive replacement thing sounds way easier than when I did it last year. There was no option to automatically back things up to another HDD, so I had to reinstall/redownload every game and copy all the saves myself, one game at a time. Even with all that, it was still worth the trouble to have 2tbs of storage. With every game I have installed, I'm only about a quarter full.

With the new update letting you back up everything to another HDD I would say its a no brainer to do it now. It's a pain having to constantly delete things to make more room.

i upgraded after 2.50FW came out and yea, it was super easy. 2TB in my PS4 now. fucking great.

Yeah, same here. I
- bought an external 2TB drive,
- backed up the PS4 to the 1.5TB external drive I already had,
- took the 2TB out of its casing following a youtube tutorial,
- slid open the PS4, and removed the 500GB drive
- put the 2TB drive in
- downloaded the full install version of the OS and put it on that 1.5TB backup drive I think (though could have been a memory stick I have on my keychain as well)
- booted the PS4 keeping the powerlight on for 10 secs, with the firmware attached and pressed the last option
- when it was done, restored the backup
- and put the 500GB in the external casing.

And that was pretty much that. Still some work, but definitely nice and clean. I'm pretty sure I'll fill up that extra 1.5TB soon enough, but hopefully I will be able to delete mostly things I really don't need anymore. ;)

Just now I played Wolf Among Us and are listening the episodes with spoilers about the game. Glad of some folks will read the comics too. They are great. And the game was able to tell a interesting story without even talking about the Adversary. If you not wanna spoilers, don't google Fables Adversary. That the villain who made all the Fables fled to the real world and is worth to read without knowing your identity.

Thanks for being on the newest ep Kevin it was a great show.

But what was up with the audio this ep?
Did not everyone record locally? Because usually audio is just fine, but this time i heard a lot of problems and skype delays etc.

Always good to have Rich back on. I'm tempted to pick up Far Cry 4 this week while its on sale because of his impressions awhile back.

Rich and Pete need to get the Doddcast going again. I miss it :(

Don't look for me this week, either. But the next week, it is on in a fashion similar to Donkey Kong Junior.

I blame divorce and cancer*. And Gies.

Sounds like Alex is still early in TW3 if he hasn't been to a single city yet. And the game has a lot of heart. Some of the later quests will make you love NPCs you only meet for a few minutes.

TW3 is fucking awesome.

It's gotten better since I started playing. I've just gotten to
Novigrad
and it is a very fun city. I've also started to like the game more after starting to do the Witcher Contracts as well as the wonderful Fists of Fury missions. I think it takes some time to open up properly and see its full splendor, but every time I play I like it more than I did last.

Baron questline was incredible though.

Yea. Baron is one of best new characters of the year. It keeps getting better. I have another area to open up but I've been holding off and doing more contracts and secondary quests instead.

I think what Rich said at the E3 presentation this podcast is straight up dumb.

"Has anyone ever seen a live demo of a game and been impressed?"

That uncharted 4 live demo was the last one I was impressed by but there's a tendency for them to be overly long or glitchy and a trailer would have been better in the context of a press conference. I dunno.

I agree with that. The last before that for me was the Halo 2 one, which did a good job of ruining all future live demos for me.

The Skyward Sword live demo is another good one to show that they're pretty meaningless. Announcements are the exciting part of E3, live demos don't do much beyond putting additional stress on devs.

Yeah, that whole series of quests was great, the end was one of the only times I've actually regretted a decision I've made in a game.

Not that anyone here needs another excuse to dump on the guy, but after finishing that quest Arthur Gies' conclusion in his review that the game and the people who made it are misogynistic is fucking idiotic. One of the most grounded, nuanced looks at a family affected by war in a game (maybe the most, other than Valiant Hearts I can't think of any others) and THAT'S what you take away from it. And to top it off he spouts this stupidity at a time when mik is too distracted to comment on it. Just inconsiderate.

But you're getting both most of the time. And gameplay trumps all when showing off a game.

There are a lot of things that one can complain about gameplay demonstrations in the context of E3 and how they can end up not being representative of the final product because they were done on a build of the game that is more than 24 months off from release for example.

But to suggest it's somehow absurd to have ever been impressed by a gameplay demonstration. Come on.

If Rich Grishham wasn't impressed by this, I'm going to call bullshit:
