didn't know Vita is already out18-Volt said:Lacks killer apps, system sellers, original new games. Full of ports... Vita needs games like PSP had, giant names, Crisis Core, GTA games, Portable Ops... Nintendo 3DS have a nuber of killeapps/system sellers already (RE: R, Kid Icarus, KH3D, MH4), and somebody must announce some big exclusive title to Vita as soon as possible.
Only games I'm excited are the Sony's own games, the brand new games, thrid party ones are rather disappointing. Uncharted is the only big system seller, followed by LBP Vita. Persona 4 and Disgaea 3 are fine too, but they're just ports with additional content of 3 year old games. PSP had couple of them and they didn't help the system. I don't think they will rock the sales charts. Mostly the people who had the original games could buy them. Also I can forsee that PS3 version of Dragon's Crown do better than Vita version. Same goes with HD collection games.
PSP had Monster Hunter, Super Robot Wars, GTA and God of War to have its sales reach to 70 million. Vita needs more than those if they want th system to exceed its precessor. Nathan Drake isn't powerful as Kratos to make the system shine.
Why? I'm probably going to buy FFX HD on the Vita purely because it can't compete with the other games coming out on the PS3 for my time, and so I won't have the time to play it if I bought it on the PS3. On the Vita, you can play in short bursts and you aren't confined to a couch and a TV. Perfect way to play a majority of these HD collection games IMO.18-Volt said:Only games I'm excited are the Sony's own games, the brand new games, thrid party ones are rather disappointing. Nope. Nada. If they add back in the classic NG games as easter eggs, then the possibility of me picking it up, goes up.TripOpt55 said:Will there be any new content or changes for Ninja Gaiden Sigma on the Vita? Any info on this?

The thing that could make me change my oppinion is multiplayer over 3G, so I can kill the 45 minutes it takes me to go to school. Call of Duty Vita with MW3 integration over 3G would be godly.
Hmm. My Spanish is a bit rusty, but I could make out most of that article. "Hero" difficulty mode huh?darkwing said:

Well that is something I guess. Hopefully they add something else cool. Maybe some new/different missions for mission mode or something at least.darkwing said:new difficulty level and new skins so far
Gravity Daze, Sound-shapes, Army Corps Of Hell, Escape Plan, Sumioni... all new.18-Volt said:Lacks killer apps, system sellers, original new games.
GTA games were essentially re-purposed ports of their console brethren. Same with Portable Ops, which released 2-3 years into the PSP's life and Crisis Core launched 3-4 years into the systems life.18-Volt said:Vita needs games like PSP had, giant names, Crisis Core, GTA games, Portable Ops...
None of these have even come out yet, and the system is well beyond its launch period and approaching (if not beyond) it's first year on the market when all of them do. Perhaps extend a console not even released yet the same courtesy for it's "system sellers".18-Volt said:Nintendo 3DS have a nuber of killeapps/system sellers already (RE: R, Kid Icarus, KH3D, MH4)

Yes. Vita's approach to games looks identical to PSP's to me and that's not something I enjoy.EhrgeizVII said:Have you even read/seen the OP?

So then we look to smartphone games, but then remember Vita can play a lot of those as well.Lagspike_exe said:I agree.

I don't need to know more =P Bioshock is my favorite franchise this gen I'll eat up anything related to it and Assassins Creed will probably be like the console versions since there's dual analog now same with COD.A Twisty Fluken said:Do we know anything about these games outside of the logo and the franchise?
I NEED SCISSORS said:People seem really backwards to me. I just don't see how having the depth of a console game on a handheld is a bad thing. It's like because it's a handheld they want to wallow in poor value, simplistic software "just cuz", when the platform can easily accommodate much better games. With the advent of multi-tasking, save states, and the almighty sleep function, the '15 minutes of time to kill' argument no longer holds any ground either.

Well ok. I'm was just hoping then because I want some rumble!AbsoluteZero said:Technically only the PSP Go as its the only one that had Bluetooth.
Though the rest supported a DS while playing the Resistance game when linked to a PS3 or something.
