Yeah from what I heard there is a new game plus but it's just some stats and items carry over, not entirely sure what exactly.

I did exactly same, got gold on beginers and easy modes and almost beat hard mode, sadly only one guy in my friends list has the game and I have beaten him in everythign, it is seriously excellent game :D

Well I don't have a problem with prices for the most part but from what I played of Trials HD, it's a great game but I don't know if it's worth the 1200 points especially when a game like explosion man was 800 points, I think Trials HD should be 800 points which is the sweetspot IMO.

TMNT was worth 800 points even though it gets shit on by everyone.

not at all, 4 player coop turtles is great, it's a fun game that is getting the short end of the stick.

It's not perfect but it's definitely better than everyone is saying it is.

Somehow I only had like 22 falls for my first attempt of King of the Hill. I'm ranked like 190 or something.

But now when I try it, I get like 300 falls :lol Just beginners luck I guess.

I made it over now I;m at 70 retries and trying to land on a angled plank of wood from a drop.
 
People actually think $15 is too much for this game? If Nintendo dropped an Excitebike with half the content, half the physics, and half the visuals on the Wii and slapped a $50 price tag on it the forum would do a happy dance.

$15 dollars is a steal for this. Hell Battlefield at $15 was stupid cheap for the 20 hours I've gotten out of it so far which is less than 1 dollar an hour. We used to dump $1 into a Daytona USA arcade machine for 3 fucking minutes of play and everyone waxes nostalgic about that game. $60 retail games are lucky to give 8 hours in their single player.

I really don't get the dollar to gameplay value issue people are having. Have $1 iPhone games skewed peoples perspectives or something?
 
arrrggg! why did i ask for friends for this game? i can't even finish the rest of the game because someone who added me has a 2 second lead on me in "container rush". and the sad part is that that's just the track that i happened to be on when i got the invite. i'm scared to go back and see what else i'm behind on. my life is now ruined because i don't see how i'm going to be able to do anything else without mentally obsessing over Trials. again, that gamertag is JAYPAH in case anyone else wants to halt my productivity.
 
Gave up on King of the Hill after the 200th retry on landing and going up those god damn planks.

Will try again later.

Why do people love unyielding so much? I've finished all the levels, golded everything up into hard, beaten all my friends in every skill game, have a good few platinum medals to my name including two top 10 times and I STILL DONT HAVE THE PATIENCE FOR THAT FUCKING ACHIEVEMENT.
 
im up to hard....its way too hard for me

btw - where are the supposed "voice overs" from rake yohn, Bran DiCamillo etc....i dont hear ANY commentary - i havent in the first three difficulty levels, tournaments or any of the skill games....

I was worried about a lame commentary, but I haven't heard anything really, besides at the beginning of the game and maybe once or twice through the game so far. Can't remember where I heard there was going to be a commentary of some sort.

if its the CKY crew - i WANT that commentry. you can even choose it in the options menu but i dont get it ..ive heard NOTHING cept the guy on the bike exclaiming once in a while...

I'm pretty sure that is the 'commentary', just the guys screaming when you get big air.
 
God damnit, I'm hooked hard. One of my friends bought it too and man does it tick me off when he has a better time than me! :lol
 
Fucking hell. I've been stuck on the ramps+fire section in Inferno forever. I don't see how you can get enough momentum to make it up the bigger ramp. You're supposed to build up some speed by hanging off the top with your front wheel and then slide down a bit, but even then I can't get to the top of the other ramp.

So incredibly hard
 
Wow, this game is addicting in a major way. It has that instant restart button that Geometry Wars 2 has, and that is dangerous. I've just started playing, and won't have much time today, but I'm going to put a ton into it tomorrow. Anyone want some competition? Gamertag: nocode81
 
Well so far Ive got Gold on all the Easy / Beginner / Medium tracks and just started Hard, im already intimidated by what the Hard tutorial makes you do lol.
 
oh god yes, just got unyeilding :o

after awhile I just figured out that its all about where you full throttle it and then have the back wheel catch the ledge. Barely ever do you need to touch the brake, well except for going in reverse to set up for your jump I guess :p
 
I've got all the special "level" achievements except

Marathon
The player has completed the Ultimate Endurance tournament without any faults.

Game is great though, see some new adds to my friends list.
 
now I feel like you everyone should try to get the unyeilding achievement. after playing dreamscrape I can immediately tell that its made me better.

And just a little while ago you were stuck at the beginning. You'll get it.

I still haven't finished it, but I've only given it one 30 minute attempt. I got stuck at the part you just described, then again on the beam incline near the end and finally on the pipes. In each case I was convinced I wasn't getting past that part and somehow I did (save the pipes, for now).
 
This game is easily one of the best and most addictive downloadable titles I've played. I can't get enough of it. I'm also hooked on the level editor, although you wouldn't know it from my lame levels thusfar. Rome wasn't built in a day. :lol
 
Man I really wish this game had custom map leaderboards (or are they there and Im missing it). It would add a lot of fun to a created level :(
 
Ugh, I need to get gold on hill climb to goal all the skill games. From looking at the leaderboard, it looks like people just hold the accelerator and lean forward.

Anyone got any tips?

just subte weight shifting and accelrating. jumping between the gaps is a must. but also slowing down a bit sometimes to get the right acceleration through a part

keep fucking those pipes. I was getting pretty annoyed at that part for some time. until I realised you just have to fuck the pipes. as long as there's a method I'm fine with it
 
Holy crap the Hard levels are crazy difficult if you're going for Gold. Not sure if I can endure the frustration.

Right on. I fucked shit out of them. Actually had more trouble with the first two parts I mentioned this time and the last couple parts weren't much trouble at all.
 
I was having a great time in this game until I got to the Hard levels. Now it's really testing my threshold for frustration. I got stuck on one checkpoint on the third level in hard (trials & tribulations?) for over fifteen minutes. Fifteen minutes trying to climb a steep hill of tires and pipes and failing repeatedly.

I'll probably do what another poster suggested and work on getting golds on the medium levels and fool around with the skill events for now. But the completionist in me is weeping inside because I know I'll probably never finish all the levels in this game.

That's nothing. Try having time expire after 30mins, being 1 check point away from the finish line and having your character continously explode and rag doll past the finish. That's frustration but I think I can do it now...

yeah, that's up there alongside the rr6 don't touch anything through single race mode achievement.

Man, fuck MS' 'friends-only' user levels restrictions. If this had an LBP-style open market for user levels, it would be pretty much the most glorious thing ever.
