The Trials HD Official Thread

Bought instantly, played for a few minutes. Fucking awesome game. Can't wait to dive into it tomorrow.
 
great game so far, starting to get stuck here and there but nothing I can't overcome learning the game.

I love the leaderboard integration tho, especially the speedbar at the top of the screen while your completing the stage.

It JUST popped up on the US marketplace. Try signing in and out of live.
 
I'm really enjoying it so far, it's lived up to expectations.
Also, I love playing games when they first come out and I can be top 10-20 on the leaderboards. :lol
 
doesn't appear to be up in euro land via the web so far?
 
The trial is really good, wasn't sure if I'd like it but it's a definite buy. It's a crying shame a lot of people seem to have no interest in it. Reminds me of Gripshift in that it seems to be quite misunderstood.
 
Bought the game after playing the trials 2 demo lots on PC this last couple of weeks...

Is there no way to change the camera in this version though? I found I prefered the 'direct' camera view from the PC version..

oh well it's only a minor issue with what is a great game...
 
This game is perfect, the level editor is amazing and the ability to see where your friends are on the leaderboards is amazing. Having loads of fun with the level editor, the races and the skill games. This is certainly a 10/10. The only fault I had was that my Xbox 360 locked up after having spent an hour in the level editor, losing my progress in the process. Oh well :p.
 
Playing some before I go to work, and for anyone else that played a quite a bit of Trials 2, you're in for a fucking treat.

So much awesome shit, goddamn.
 
Has anyone found bowling pins on a level besides
the final Medium level

On the 30% of tries that I can actually get to the pins, I can only knock down 4-6 of them. I once got 9, but most of the time I can't seem to hit them with the necessary force.

Nope, you can't. I prefered the direct side camera too. It's the only small tiny fault I have with the game so far.
 
This game is soo damn fun!

I had so much fun unlocking that Full Throttle Achievement! What made it even better is that it unlocked a gamer picture too! :D
 
Picked it up before I left for work this morning. Tons of fun, but it was a bad idea picking it up 15 minutes before I had to leave for work. Ran late and forgot my wallet! :lol

Can't wait to get home and play some more though, VERY fun game.

I am wondering the same thing I can only get 9 down so far, once I hit them by accident and all of them looked like they were going down but I hit the back button -_-
 
Man, when I hit that bit on Where's The Ground where you just drop through a part of the track you raced before, that's when I fell in love. Unlocking this tomorrow.

Yeah, liked that part too. Bought the game and I can tell I'm gonna get my money's worth, even if I don't finish the harder levels. Not sure how many people on my friend's list will get this.

Can you republish other people's levels? That way good levels will get perpetuated between friends lists.

What levels are playable in the trial?
 
I was actually pretty disappointed in the trial. Was kinda expecting it to be more fun based on videos and impressions.

I don't think I will get it, maybe if it were 800 points.
 
Wow, downloaded the trial and then bought the game two minutes later. It's that good. Looking forward to going home and firing this up after work.
 
I had so much fun with this earlier in a party trying to beat all my friends markers in levels or the mini games.

Starting to get so hard, gonna play more tonight and check out the editor. I also watched some of the replays wow some people are ninjas.
 
Finally got all the golds on in the Skill Game. Outside the Ball was tough as shit.

Gunna be extremely temporary but here's my best ranks in the Skill Games:
5 on Down the Stairs
2 in Target Hunt
2 Outside the Ball
1 Flip Hunter
1 Loose Screw

10th overall out of the 5000
 
tried the trial. I didn't care that much for this game beforehand, but man is it awesome. I'm really tempted to get the full version. And here I thought my 1200 were safe for SC next week :/

The earlier levels are a cakewalk, keep at it, the level designs get more diabolical later on

Also it greatly adds to the fun of the game if you're competing against friends for better times
 
I'm buying a 360 for this game. I'm serious. I was/am totally in love with Trials 2 SE for the PC, played it constantly a while back. My proudest moment was entering the top 50 in the total worldwide rankings; I believe I was #47 or #48 at best (I've since dropped a few hundred positions). Needless to say, I just can't miss this.

Now, the question is: Do I buy a 360 now, or do I wait for the price drop which is rumored to come in September (along with the Pro model disappearing)?
