I knew COD was doing pretty bad on PC nowadays but damn didn't know it was THAT bad. It is even prime time here on the east coast US.

Yeah. My twin played Ghosts on PC a week ago and only found almost 700 people playing TDM. How much people are playing Black Ops 2 on PC?
Ghosts is also the most terrible Call of Duty. I played Black Ops 1 on his PC and found games easily. Don't know the number of players though.
Pretty sure Black Ops 2 has more players on console than Ghosts.
Looking forward to Advanced Warfare and Black Ops 3. Will skip the next IW COD until I play it at a friends house, and see if they change my mind.

Speaking from personal experience, the game was glitchy if you had a large friend list. Like it would stutter, I think, from trying to constantly update your friend status. They didn't fix it in the few other times I tried to play it, so I just moved on until they did, and I never got around to checking.
Contrast this with Pinball FX2, which had the same thing after a patch. Was quickly fixed.

Yeah CS' numbers have been insane. When I first picked it up, I don't recall seeing anywhere close to the numbers that matchmaking has now. Its good to see the better game with the stronger numbers

Those are the reasons why I stick with COD 4 PC still. Modern Warfare 2 would have been the best Call of Duty game, but we got none of those on the PC. All the bullshit the game had would have been fixed with custom matches/servers.
This is how I think of it and Battlefield too. Call of Duty is a console game for me.

Yep. I dont like the gameplay, but you cant deny that BLOPS2 is very well optimized.
CS:GO are completely different types of shooters though, the only time they come close is TF2's Arena mode and barely anybody plays that. I personally prefer TF2, but that's because I've played it for 7 years and it's my favourite game of all time, and also because I'm terrible at Counter-Strike.

Yeah, and I can't imagine why anyone would buy them. The community is so small so as it is, you won't be able to find a game after it splinters up the people for you even more.
I think the general press about the franchise is in an upswing with AW, so I think they could recover somewhat. Provided it's not a shit port.
Insurgency the Source mod turned standlone is as 2400 at the moment. A Firefall which IMO is the reason why I don't even think about Desinty is at a nice 6000 players. Yeah Ghosts fucked up big time and BF4 is know to have about 22,000 players on PC and its not on steam and messed up even worse IMO launch wise.

Blops 1 is sub 1k and it makes me so angry that people arent playing it as much. Cod 4 on the other hand is booming like mad.
edit: Cod 4 is not steamworks so its not as easily recorded. Its still huge though.
At this point i am avoiding PC versions expect maby treyarch if they do a good job again just like Black Ops 2 next year but we will see. I am getting AW on PS4 though most of my friends are there playing anyway.
