Three in September - Backlog Warrior

These

Mugen Souls
Agarest Generations of War: 2
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity

Bonus

Atelier Rorona
Tales of the Abyss
Dynasty Warriors 7: Empires Plat

I failed to get 4 last month...hope i can get 3 this one heh I get too distracted from other games like FIFA. Not sure if i will get to any of the bonuses this month maybe Drill Dozer but that's it.

My List:

Back to the Future (PC)
Thomas Was Alone (PC)
Blackwell Episode 3 - Convergence (PC)

Bonus:

To the Moon (PC)
Dragon Age: Origins (PC)
Alan Wake (PC)
Drill Dozer (GBA)

Gonna roll for starters:

Hitman: Absolution
Jak & Daxter Precursor Legacy
AC3

Bonus round:
Stealth Bastard
Bastion

NFS - Most Wanted (PS3 - PS+,poor mans Burnout Paradise and i'm already are up to the second most wanted car)
Far Cry 3 PC (very nice so far)
Payday (PS3 PS+, beginning left a bad impression)

Started Demons Souls (PS+) but i don't think i'm going to finish this anywhere near the next 3 month. Fuck the Tower Knight :). He already has taken around 8000 souls hostage.

Well, it's a bit of a technicality as far as the rules are concerned, but the credits for Saint's Row IV rolled at 00:15 on September 1st, so it belongs on this tally!

Now, I've tentatively started Might and Magic Book One: The Secret of the Inner Sanctum. Yup, the very first game in the series. Given the length I'm hearing about for the game, I'm sceptical if I'll finish that in time (or indeed retain interest in the game - it's at the limits of my patience, and I've already hex edited once to resurrect some characters because money was just so scarce... although I don't intend to make a habit of that!), but it's on the go.

Also on the go is HarmoKnight, which I'm rather enjoying. That's my current game for the commute. I do have EO2 waiting in the wings, too, but it's probably not smart to have that on the go while Might and Magic is still extant. I think I may well be tempted into Steambot Dig after HarmoKnight is cleared up.

Last month I finished off a couple of titles that had been ongoing for some time, but two - CoD2 and Black Mirror are still there, although I still have a vague intent to get back to both!

So, the current lineup will be some combination of:

Saint's Row IV
Might and Magic Book One: The Secret of the Inner Sanctum
HarmoKnight
Steambot Dig
Etrian Odyssey 2
Call of Duty 2
Black Mirror

I still haven't played the GTA Episodes yet, so I don't feel the need to rush into V.

I failed in August but came close with 3 out of 4.

3 games in September - that should be doable. I'll finish 3 of the following

Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney
Phoenix Wright Justice For All
Killzone 3
Mark of the Ninja
Shadow Run Returns
Resident Evil 6

Well, I didn't end my Witcher 2 playthrough till today so I guess that'll go in the September books :). Hoping for a productive month:

The Witcher 2
Amnesia
Rogue Legacy

Bonus:
The Swapper
Guacamelee
Journey

Shin Megami Tensei IV - The oldest game I need to finish. I should be farther along than I am but I'm taking my time with it

Pikmin 3 - Played a bunch over the weekend and I fell in love with it.

That's all I have left so hopefully I get them done before W101 since everything goes on the back burner when that comes out.

My list for this month:

1. Breath of Fire II
2. SteamWorld Dig
3. Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan

Let's give it our best shot, GAF! :D

These

Mugen Souls - A little bit done
Agarest Generations of War: 2 - Starting
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity

Bonus

Atelier Rorona - Fair bit through
Tales of the Abyss - A little bit done
Dynasty Warriors 7: Empires Plat - 23%

1 done. A bit more enjoyable than explorers of darkness, but far shorter and far far far easier.

1. Breath of Fire II
2. SteamWorld Dig
3. Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan

SteamWorld Dig is definitely one of the better eShop games! Had a lot of fun with it, although the game is a bit on the easy side. BoF II & EO IV should keep me busy for the rest of the month.

this month is going to be a busy month.

but here's my list:

- Battleblock Theater up until stage 8 I liked the game...
- Rayman Origins completed it, now it's time to 100% it! (well maybe 85%)
- Assassin's Creed: Revelaitons (one AC per month until AC4!)

Bonus

- Castle of Illusion HD

man, who ever designed the stage 8 finale in Battleblock Theater I really want to bash his brains in. goddamn twitchy platforming bullcrap! GAH!

edit: doing well this month. my backlog is melting!

Wasn't able to beat the 4 I wanted last month, kinda got sidetracked by SRIV and Dota2...

So the three I want to get done this month are

Rogue Legacy - Half done
Bastion - Half done
Gears of War II - Haven't started

Here is my list, damn I hope I make this happen. August was a real slow month, didn't finish anything.

Resistance 3
Shadows of the Damned
Deus Ex Human Revolution

Bonus: Hotline Miami (already over halfway done)

Splinter Cell Blacklist - Done (PC)
Tales of Xillia - In Progress (PS3)
Diablo III- In Progress (360)

...and then:

Tales of Vesperia (360)
Saints Row IV (PC)

That's the plan for now. D3 on the 360 doesn't interfere much with my Xillia experience so I don't mind those two ongoing at the same time.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist
Outlast
Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs

I should definitely finish Blacklist and Outlast, but I'm not too sure about Amnesia. I've still not finished the first one yet, despite owning it for over a year.

What to choose, what to choose...

-Dishonored's two story DLCs: Knife of Dunwall and Brigmore Witches
-Rayman Legends
-Saint's Row IV (carried over from August's list)

Bonus: The Witcher's side story adventures (I've played through 4 so far: 2 of them were great, especially the one where you return to Kaer Morhen. The bad ones seem like fan-made adventures that were translated by someone who speaks only a little English, and extensively used Babel Fish.)

I've only really played a bit of Plants vs Zombies 2 this month. Had a string of days where I was just too worn out to play a "real" game. I'm feeling pretty solid today though, so I'll get started; kicking off the weekend with Rayman (picking up today). Though I've been wanting to play Dishonored for like a week now, so probably that too tonight.

Saints Row IV
The Last of Us
Borderlands 2

Let's see if I can actually keep up with one of these things! (probably not)

I assume a lot of people have that game or two that they've replayed seemingly a thousand times, but have never actually finished? For me, one of those is Chrono Trigger. I think I'm gonna try again, and actually beat it this time.

Pikmin 3 - Absolutely amazing game. My first Pikmin ever and one of the freshest experiences I've ever had the pleasuring of playing.
Metro: Last Light - Halfway through the game. Love the atmosphere and tension. Went into it with little expectations, came out of it extremely impressed.
Saints Row IV - Sank 4 hours into co-op with a friend today. Game looks and runs so bad but the superhero powers are a lot of fun.

Bonus:
Tales of Xillia - 8 hours into the game so far, stuck on the moth looking boss. Figured I'd go through Metro and SR4 first since they're probably much shorter games.
Plants vs Zombies Vita - Beat it twice on PC through the years, first thing I downloaded and started playing as soon as I got a Vita last week even though I have games like Gravity Rush and Uncharted: Golden Abyss waiting. On stage 4-1 currently.
Wonderful 101 - Everything else gets put on the backburner the moment I get my hands on this game.

My list:

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (PC)
Ducktales: Remastered (PC)
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 2 (PC)

Bonuses:

Dragon Age 2 (PC)
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning (PC)
Need for Speed: Most Wanted (PC)

Beat Tomba! Feels good; I use to rent that game all the time back in the PSX days, but never beat it. Playing Splinter Cell Blacklist and Rayman Legends until my two other target games come out.

  • Killzone: Mercenary
  • Tomba!
  • The Wonderful 101

Progress:

New Super Luigi U

Just finished up Super Luigi. Lots of great levels, wouldn't mind another expansion like this.
I've also started playing The Witcher 2, just started chapter 1.

I actually finished Amnesia last weekend.

Pretty darn good game. Atmosphere was done well (sound, lack of lighting), and I actually liked the at-times clumsy physics. Story wasn't bad either. Extremely tense.

I just finished Metro 2033 a couple of hours ago, from a game I started in April.

My three:

Mario & Luigi: Dream Team -- before the 15th, because it's going to GameStop for The Wonderful 101 by then.

EarthBound

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption

Bonus:

Blue Dragon -- Bought this new on Amazon for super cheap. It's sad and satisfying that I pat myself on the back when I play an RPG to the end. I recently finished Dragon Quest V on the DS and, though I really enjoyed every moment in that game, it gave me this fun feeling of "What other big game can I conquer?" Blue Dragon will be that game.

As always, I finished a game that I didn't even plan to complete.

-The Wonderful 101
-Rayman Legends
-Puppeteer
-Tales of Xillia
-Ni-no-Kuni
-New Super Luigi U
-Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
-Castle of Illusion HD: Starring Mickey Mouse

Finished the game in a few sittings at 100%. Really enjoyed myself with it despite having rarely played the original game. I'll probably check out that cool M2 port at some point since it has been ages since I've played the Genesis game.

Other than that, I'm SO close to beating Ni-no-Kuni. I'm 61 hours in at the final dungeon. TRYING to finish it tonight.

...well, I'm sad. I'm actually quite upset. I tried really really hard to beat Ultima V, and I even resorted to a walkthrough too once the maddening level of depth overwhelmed me. But, I just can't enjoy it enough to complete. So, it's being ditched. You were one of my first ever games and I'm sad I'll never have beaten you, but... you just aren't fun to me anymore. I'm sure you'll find someone else soon though, Ultima V.

So instead, tonight I started X-COM: Enforcer... And then beat it some 5 hours later. It's a very short and incredibly easy game, but there is definitely some cathartic fun to be had. I enjoyed it.

Two more to go. I've got Deus Ex installed already, so I'm going to give that a go.

Child of Eden (PS3)
Odin Sphere (PS2)
Bit Trip Beat (Wii)

Really enjoyed Odin Sphere's story and the later characters are quite fun.

Finished up Dungeon Hunter Alliance today as well, since I had a ton of time already put into it.

  • Killzone: Mercenary
  • Tomba!
  • The Wonderful 101

Bonus:

  • Dungeon Hunter Alliance

-The Wonderful 101
-Rayman Legends
-Puppeteer
-Tales of Xillia
-Ni-no-Kuni
-New Super Luigi U
-Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
-Castle of Illusion HD: Starring Mickey Mouse

Got Brothers in, real fast. Cool game!

I forgot to post my initial list, but this is my list, minus one I just completed.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX
The Wonderful 101

I'm really not sure if I'll get all of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX done this month. Since technically it is made up of two games and movie, I'll be satisfied with just Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix since I've never played the Final Mix version.

Pikmin 3
Saints Row 4
Metro: Last Light

Finished up Saints Row 4 earlier today and actually Platinum'd it (had to leave the PS3 on overnight for the 40 hours trophy). Finished Metro: Last Light a few minutes ago and it is one of my favorite games of the year. Absolutely amazing game that is expertly crafted and has so much attention to detail. Already looking forward to my second playthrough.

With those 3 out of the way, I'll continue with Tales of Xillia for the rest of the week or maybe start Pupeteer until I get my hands on Wonderful 101.

Three in September, PSP Edition:

Gitaroo Man Lives (every song on Master difficulty)
Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth
Metal Gear Acid

Bonus:
N+
Brave Story: New Traveler
Metal Gear Acid 2

That's all my PSP games...

Progress:

New Super Luigi U
Stacking

Just completed Stacking, I went into it with no expectations and ended up loving it. Highly recommended.

Updated:

Saint's Row IV
Might and Magic Book One: The Secret of the Inner Sanctum
HarmoKnight
Steambot Dig
Etrian Odyssey 2
Call of Duty 2
Black Mirror

Not sure where another completion would come from right now. I'm really enjoying M&M1, but it's a gargantuan game and the chances of me finishing it this (or even next!) month are slim. The next completion would probably, therefore, come from the handheld environment, but I've not really been motivated to start a fresh title there yet since I'd *quite* like to do EO2, but really don't want to do it in conjunction with M&M1!

Actually, I could swap to commute-gaming on my Vita, there's quite a lot waiting in the wings on that. But also, Steambot Dig is getting a lot of good reviews.

These

Mugen Souls - A little bit through.
Agarest Generations of War: 2 - Started
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity

Bonus

Atelier Rorona - Around half way?
Tales of the Abyss
Disgaea 4 Plat - 30%

Changed to Disgaea and Tales of the Abyss beaten.
