Sounds like it right about time for them to suddenly "suck compared to early in their careers".. You know, back before the mainstream folks knew them by name.

Arcade Fire is still really good, but their first album really was their best. But that's more because of the fact that their first album was one of the best albums in the last couple decades, so it's hard to top.

Oh, I love sexual innuendo as much as the next, let me tell ya! I just posted the lyrics to that song because that's what came to mind when I saw all of this Nickelback hate. Not like I'm saying they were the first to do so or anything. Come on. And I assure you, their "bad sexual innuendo" is not solely to blame.

It's obvious they have tons of fans. That's easy to see. I just can't seem to set them apart from a lot of the stuff out there right now, shitty lyrics aside.

Silverside Up and The State were enjoyable. Generic post grunge pop rock for sure, but I enjoyed them. They were not afraid of making their first hit song over and over and over again after that, though. Their last couple of CD's have been just absolute shit where every track is either "how you remind me" or some "getting drunk and starting fights" shit. I like old school Nickelback. Fucking sell outs.

I don't care if people are hating Nickleback for the wrong reasons (because that douche Rollins mentioned them or because it's suddenly trendy to do so). They are still correct in hating them. If you live in Canada it is even worse. The CRTC mandates a significant percentage of radio time be devoted to Canadian bands.
