That's great news, I'm just about to head off to hospital for some tests since my blood tests had some off the wall results. It's nice to hear some positive things before I head out.
Yeah! I had 6 months of ABVD as an outpatient (they were planning on 2 months of ABVD -> 4 months of Escalated BEACOPP but, because after 2 months it looked like it worked they stuck with ABVD). Then I had 2 cycles of ICE which I was an inpatient for, and the bone marrow destroyer was BEAM, which I had over 5 days, half outpatient, half in patient

ah right on, kinda interesting regional variation on therapy, BEACOPP is used much more commonly in Europe than USA, where it is almost always ABVD up frontI'm an Aussie, but I'm in a pretty regional area (Tasmania). My doctor's from the UK and has lots of experience with refractory HL so, I'm in good hands regardless.

Me about two weeks before my first diagnosis. I was prepping for my exams at uni, and just finishing off my final assignments

The day I was admitted, with the IV pump that would become my best friend. We called him Theo.

My first time having chemo. The 'A' drug in ABVD is a vivid red/orange, so it showed up well in photos. They were putting it through a PICC line, which is like a tube in your arm that goes to your heart so they can easily access your veins and give you chemo efficiently.

I got bald pretty quickly, bout month too. That chemo drug was light sensitive, so they covered it up.

When I beat it the first time, I took a little holiday

And then back to hospital beds. Plus glasses now, cause chemo fucked with my vision XD

I lost my hair quicker this time, and had some heavier hardware installed. Same idea as the PICC, but bigger and more invasive

The machine used to harvest my stem cells. Like a dialysis machine. I passed out pretty soon after that was taken

This was my home for the month of my transplant. It was a pretty nice hospital room, and, my Tonberry came with. I curled up and gamed on my 3DS and laptop, when I was feeling up for it. MMOs were a wonderful support.

My radiotherapy mask. This thing gave me terrible nightmares, so it now lives in the roof.

And, a year and a half later, wearing the same shirt, me today
