You joke, but it's definitely going to be about drones. Maverick's going to have to prove that humans are better than machines or some shit. It's basically going to be that movie Stealth.

In concept that isn't really a bad thing, since the concept of Stealth is pretty decent if you simplify it to a malfunctioning drone or one that has been hijacked, without the over-the-top evil AI pulling the strings.

As far as a director is concerned Ridley Scott has 3 acclaimed director children. Luke, Jake, and Jordon. Tony's kids are too young but it would be cool to keep this one in the family.

He's like Keanu...he doesn't age. Also the Navy should get behind this. When I was in the military and worked with Navy people you'd be surprised how many joined because they saw Top Gun lol
